Remove the hairy cardboard undercover since a lot of extra water coming down.
So perhaps combine with oil change.
That way the hair doesn't get all curly from the humidity!

Cover being gone probably helps too with extra air bustling around to help dry things while driving.
Because compared to post saying let it run for 15 min to warmup - hybrid would be plenty able to sit there for 15 min ON with ICE never running to get warm and dry things out.
So that method would be useless.

Never wash your engine. It doesn't mind being a bit dirty. You can blow off the dust with compressed air, but there are a lot of electronic sensors and cabling in there and water exposure just creates unnecessary risk from corrosion.

The same way I clean my undercarriage: I hit puddles at high speed.

My feeling exactly, washing the engine doesn't do any good and it may do harm.
If you are selling it get a profesional detailer to clean everything.

Make sure to drain the windshield washer fluid out of your truck. In use it might accidentally run down into the engine bay creating unnecessary risk.

Going outside may do harm to you by being struck by a meteor. Stay inside! :alien:
