I figured out how to cast it from my phone to the screen. So, I plug the adapter into the obd2 spot( drivers side under dash). The adapter connects via Bluetooth to my phone. I plug my phone into the radio via USB.

I don't have any idea how or if it's possible to do that from iphone.

There aren't any ODB2 apps for iOS that have a Carplay component unfortunately. Unless I'm mistaken. So you can have the iPhone showing the app, but you can't display it on the infotainment screen.

I wonder if you could use an old phone and have it be in a permanent mount? I have several old iPhones laying around. I occasionally re-use an old iPhone as a dedicated app-runner. No sim card or activation required. I think you'd just mate it to the OBD adapter. It might fit perfectly in the cubby?

Tip: in the little side cubby to the side of the screen you can attach a suction cup phone mount to the SIDE of the cubby. (The floor of the cubby was too small.)

I can't do video or nav yet. My cord jack is toast on my iPhone. I can only do stuff wirelessly. Which surprisingly I can do everything without a cord. Even charge. Just can't do CarPlay.

Yup! That's what worked. Installation of screen2ato was not easy, but it works.... No rooting

I use an obd2 adapter with torque pro to get this info. The Android adapter was $12 and the app was $5

Looks like that iOS app is a scam intended to profit off the Torque name from the Android app which is well-known and seems to be decent. The iOS imposter doesn't seem to be any good.

The developer listed is different so it's not the same thing at all.

Looks like if you want to use Torque, you'll need an Android device; can't do it with an iPhone.

Almost certainly full battery voltage.
It likely has an inverter and literally drives the compressor with Alternating Current. I can't get the shop drawings to open on my phone. The files are big. But thats my assumption. 220 volts.
