So my 2023 XLT Hybrid has a battery drain issue. In only 7 weeks of ownership / 2,000 miles I've had numerous "deep sleep" notifications and 2 completely dead batteries which required a jump (I used my NOCO GB40 - but have since upgraded to the Hulkman 8.5) to get started. My truck is currently AT the dealership for the 2nd time because the technician wanted to replace the Battery Control Module (I might have that term slightly wrong) because after they dropped in a new 12V last week, the problem still kept persisting and I was forced to bring my truck back to the service department.
Here are my ideas for 'solutions' to the parasitic drain, assuming the dealership is unable to 100% resolve the issue. I don't want to be negative, but it really appears that for MOST of the reports on here, despite numerous interventions by Ford, the issue is never quite resolved. Thus, I want to be proactive and perhaps mitigate the issue as best I can. The alternative is worse for me....getting rid of the Maverick and paying more / dealing with locating a new vehicle. I waited 17 months for this truck and I still LOVE it.
I'd love input or ideas, many of these quasi-solutions come from interactions and/or posts from members of this forum:
1) Upgrade my 12V battery by installing a 'beefier' alternative to the factory Motorcraft - that will still fit the under-seat dimensions
I understand that a brand new vehicle should NOT require this much pre-caution, but, I would still rather try to enjoy this truck to its fullest potential. Perhaps THIS time my dealership will solve the problem, I would love to be proven wrong. I still carry a voltage meter and will continue to monitor this issue.
I am not not married to any of these particular brands or models, but from my research ....it seems that all of these would provide a possible safety net to hopefully keep the parasitic drain problem at bay. I would love any input or suggestions before I go and make these purchases.

- Did a BMS reset (high beams + brakes) after getting a new 12V battery from Ford
- Park far from my house to prevent my truck and key fob from "talking" to one another
- Keep my key inside a faraday bag to prevent any possible signal chat
- Turned off / Unpaired all FordPass data from within my truck screen settings
- Driving in "Low" mode for the last 5-10 minutes of every drive
