This isn't a thread about whether self driving is real or will be real (or when). That's politics and opinion, and please keep yours to yourself (as will I). It's a thread for the over 70 crowd about whether you would welcome a self-driving vehicle if it was safe and reliable and affordable.
Given those parameters - it arrives after my family takes away my car keys but before I die, it's affordable, it's safe and reliable. I would love a self driving vehicle. It's freedom for the elderly. Anybody else? Pro or con, I'm just curious about whether you would never get in one, or you would welcome it.
