I'm 66 years old and retired , I hope this will be my last new vehicle and I live to be 100, though I do take better care of my trucks than I take care of myself.

Still waiting, but intent was to keep it many years as a supplement or even replacement vehicle to our nine year old Prius and my 22 year old Ranger. We will see, all depends on reliability and maintenance problems.
Your maverick is truly a mash up of those two😂

At least 7 years/100,000 miles thanks to my extended warranty from @Granger Ford ...or until the Mav is available in Eruption Green and Granger brings back $3k off & 0.9% interest
The MPG, price, interest rate, and how well the truck fits me even at 6'4" has blown away the competition in the mid-sized truck market. I had a lot of equity when Carvana prices went through the roof and considered swapping for a Ridgeline or Frontier, as they are admittedly better suited to towing/hauling/truck stuff, but I don't do those things 99.9% of the time I drive the truck, so the Mav's comfort and value win out.

My "LastTruckEver" name here pretty much tells the tale. I'm about to retire, have no plans to ever buy another vehicle unless some unforseen circumstance forces my hand. Ford from the beginning, Ford to the end.....unless it all goes to hell, and then, whatever I can afford! :p

I’ll run it until the hybrid battery fails, transmission goes, it engine goes. Whichever comes first. If the cost of a replacement hybrid battery is feasible at the time, I may opt for that.

My plans on the length of time I keep mine are probably going to be determined by several factors. One being whether or not I am able to get my back issues sorted out without major surgery(multiple fusions), whether or not the symptoms I have now are permanent damage, and if/where we decide to move to in order to get away from this state run by the criminally/mentally insane. It could be as few as several more months to many years.

I used to lease luxury cars. Having had over dozen BMW's. Including a few that I did European delivery on. Those were the days when 60k cars can be had for under $300 monthly. However my current vehicle I purchased which is a 21 Toyota trd pro. Life is about trying new experiences, I get bored after few years. Maverick will likely go after few years. If economy tanks, I would love to get my dream Porsche 911.

I plan to keep mine for as long as possible. Once getting a hybrid became financially unsound, I switched to getting what should be the most common configuration. XLT, EcoBoost, FWD. I hope that over the years, this will allow for increased part availability and thus repairability.

I usually trade every three years. Have had my RAV4 for six years. Considered trading it, but thought I better hang on for the times the Ford craps out. The Ford will last until it irritates me, then it will be gone and the RAV will still be going down the road.
RAV made in japan. Ford made in Mexico. We'll see.

minus the engine shudder. If it gets fixed tomorrow - going in for TSB 23-2209 to fix this issue - then I would definitely keep it for a while
same, I would keep it if they can fix the grabby brakes/engine shudder. If not made upgrade to a second gen when that is out in 2030

I keep my vehicles until the cost of repair is more than the vehicle is worth. My other car is 12 years old and has 200000 plus miles. No plan to get rid of either one.
