How long do you plan to keep your Ford Maverick Truck?
8-10 years typically, but those have been used vehicles. I have not purchased a new vehicle since 1986 and was young and stupid back then. Trading in cars way too quickly. So I am guessing 10 minimum. I drive 4000 to 5000 a year But will retire in 6 years, so maybe will drive more then.

I drove my Ford Focus 13 yrs and 260k before our Maverick arrived and we have no plans to get rid of that because it never went to the dealer for a single warranty repair ,so it's a back up. That being said me and this Maverick are gonna be together for a long time.
I was a Ford dealer service manager for 20 years and practice what I always preached about maintenance. It is cheap insurance for a long lasting vehicle.

I kept my last car for 12 years before I sold it to get the Mav, I probably won't keep this one that long but as long as it keeps running I'll keep driving it.

Until I go or it goes. I’m in my 70’s so hopefully this is my last vehicle. Hopefully a long time from now 😊

I’ll run it until the hybrid battery fails, transmission goes, it engine goes. Whichever comes first. If the cost of a replacement hybrid battery is feasible at the time, I may opt for that.
I've very optimistic that the transmission and engine are solid. I share the same outlook on the Hybrid battery and will likely be feasible on replacement. Am optimistic that this vehicle will work well for a very long time with proper maintenance.

I'll probably keep it at least 4 to 5 years. Maybe longer if it is trouble free!

Sold mine after a year. Too many trips to the shop and unsolved issues. Good luck to the next owner!

How long do you plan to keep your Ford Maverick Truck?
I plan on at least ten years with the extended warranty i bought from Grainger. Normally we keep vehicles for at least 12 years so it might outlast me. This is the first time I ever ordered new with what I wanted and will be my last truck. 513 days to get it but I love it.

I planned on keeping it until it died (hopefully a long time). When does plan "A" ever work out? I gave my 33 year old S10 beater truck to my nephew in a time of need, then ordered the Maverick. Patiently waited ~14 months for it to arrive. Two months after I took delivery, nephew no longer needed the S10 and gave it back (Wife wanted it out of the driveway). I didn't need two small pickups, and no one was going to give me anything for the now 34 year old truck and Carvana was willing to give me a lot more than I paid for the Maverick. When the S10 dies, if it ever dies, I will look at the Maverick again, but will probably go with the EB rather than the original hybrid.
