I'm tired of hearing about the real hybrid milage , the truth is the average mpg varies , my average over all mpg is around 45mpg in my real world . Every ones vehicle use and driving habits vary alot , as do every individuals real world mpg.
As a retired UAW worker I can say most members do not seem to understand economics . Job security and benifits are the most important things and reducing inflation is more impartant than raising wages . Over the years that I worked my pay would increase but my standard of living didn't . It's a...
I would have kept the cloth zippered folder that came with the 2011 ranger I traded in, if I had known my 2023 Maverick did not come with one, I guess the had to cut costs . The Ford. Pass app has the owners manual on it , which it nice .
2023 maverick Xlt hybrid 2000 miles no problems other than the oil filter being over tighfened and a pain to change , so I really have no real complaints.
We have no shortage of road salt in Nothern Ohio , we have a salt mine that runs under Lake Erie. The excessive use of road salt here has always been one of my pet peevs. It does millions of dollars of damage to motor vehicles every winter.
Cyber Orange looked more Yellow at least on an overcast day like today, it did look sharp though, kind of like yellow full sized trucks I've seen with TONKA decals on them.
Used remote start for the 1st time this morning, it aslo turned on the heated seats and steering wheel . This was the first time I used any of that, it was nice . My XLT Maverick Hybrid luxury package is the most loaded truck I've owned .In past vehicles I've owned power windows were a luxury.
I have been thinking about getting a wireless android auto adapter with built in gps and it's own andoid operating system. I don't really care about
entertainment apps . I have seen a few dongles on
Amazon that have these capabilties . I don't own a smart phone and have been using a Mio...
Columbia Station Ohio 2023 XLT Hybrid Luxury Package. Bought mine at Nick Abraham Ford in Elyria , MSRP NO MARK UP. Come on and join the Ohio Maverick Truck Club, there were only around thirty members the last time I logged on, maybe we could improve on that.
I'm 66 and hope I am as active as PapaRed in 20 years.I think the Maverick is the perfect truck for an OLD FART, its easy on gas ,easy to load and unload, you don't need a step ladder to get in the cab and above all the price is right! I know Ford marketed the Maverick as an entry level truck...
My oil looked the same as yours when I changed my oil at 1500 miles. This was my first oil change in new vehicle as well.I think this is normal for a new engine. I remember when shady mechanics would show customers the metal particles in the pan when draining transmission fluid and hit them up...
I didn't buy my maverick hybrid for any other reason than getting the most bang for my buck. Climate change is going to happen no matter what we do, it's beyond our control . As the late George Carlin said , "The planets not going anywhere, we are! ".
I just changed my breakin oil at 1500 miles and after looking at the bottom of the drain pan I don't regret it. This was the first time I did the first oil change on a new truck , it's probably normal to see metal fragments and bits of god knows what , during the first oil change but I'm glad I...
I just changed the breakin oil in my 2023 hybrid and noticed the my under body shield has an opening below the drain plug , I still had to remove the shield to change the filter . I suppose I could change the filter every other oil change if I wanted to. Ford must have made this change recently...
I have 1500 miles on mine and plan on changing my oil before winter , just to drain and replace the breakin oil and filter. In the future I plan on changing my oil once a year or when the Ford Pass app tells me to , Which ever comes first.
