I just changed the breakin oil in my 2023 hybrid and noticed the my under body shield has an opening below the drain plug , I still had to remove the shield to change the filter . I suppose I could change the filter every other oil change if I wanted to. Ford must have made this change recently...

I have 1500 miles on mine and plan on changing my oil before winter , just to drain and replace the breakin oil and filter. In the future I plan on changing my oil once a year or when the Ford Pass app tells me to , Which ever comes first.
