How long do you plan to keep your Maverick?

For vehicles I like, I typically average about 7 years/100,000 miles.

I like my Maverick so far, but i've only had it about two weeks. We'll see how it goes.

How long do you plan to keep your Ford Maverick Truck?

Until Ford comes out with a PHEV version, if they don't, it probably will be my last truck.

7 years for normal ICE only Truck. 11 y for Hybrid Toyotas so far. So 8 yrs or first engine fire whichever comes first.

I plan on my keeping it for the same amount of time (20 years) I kept my B3000. I sometimes regret that I sold her. She still drove like it just came off the assembly line.

Traded in my 2011 Edge with 236,000 miles. Usually keep vehicles until they die. Hoping to get at least get 10+ years or 200,000+miles out of the MAV. I'm 49 and driving a lot less now a days now that the kids are grown and have their own vehicles. If there are no major mechanical issues I will keep it as long as it runs good!

My Ram 1500 lasted me 24 years. Not sure if the Mav will last that long. The road salt in NY destroys vehicles and there seems to be many places in the undercarriage for it to accumulate. I plan to get it ceramic coated and under coated before winter. That should buy me a few more years, hopefully. I'd like this to be my last vehicle, but we'll see.

One observation I have always seen on pickups is the rust around the wheel wells. Don't seem to see that on cars. My Dakota rusted pretty badly there. Before that I had an S10 and for some reason that thing was rust free.

I'm 66 and my Maverick is 9 months old with only 2250 miles on it, so it should last a long time. I purchased a 10 year warranty when I bought it new, so as long as things keep working and no major repair bills, I'll keep enjoying the 45mpg miles I have averaged since I drove it off the dealer lot.

How has your Boxster been for reliability? I know most German cars are very expensive to repair when out of warranty, but I've heard Porsche's are more reliable than BMW or Mercedes.

It had a significant amount of deferred maintenance when I bought it. Thankfully they are very easy to work on. Parts can still be expensive, but I provide the labor.

the only thing that has needed to be done outside deferred maintenance was the water pump. So one thing in 2.5 years of ownership on a now 24 year old car.

I have to keep it a least 6 months as it was purchased on the A-plan. After that dunno, only had it a week. Seems ok.

Another "long waiter" got their unicorn. Good to see. Hope it ends up being worth the wait.

Don’t know how long I will keep this one but I kept my last Truck ( Dodge Ram ) for 19 years!

I buy a vehicle every 20yrs on average. Pushing 60 so most likely last truck I'll own.
Live near the ocean in New England so salt is a major issue. Had it sprayed with NHoil one week after purchase. I'll do that every year to keep the rust away.
