Highway MPG for hybrid Maverick?

in friged winter I am getting 8.5 l/100 combined,

Wait for Spring before forming any lasting opinions. No one's getting good mileage below 0C.

curious why the Mav hybrid highway mpg is considerably lower than other hybrids….Toyota RAV4 and Venda hybrids are 37 & 38 respectively……Mav is 33.

Could be aerodynamics, the shape of those cars are not as flat on the front end as the maverick

I keep seeing 40mpg in the city for the hybrid. What is the on the road mpg? I drive over hundred miles a day for work so most of my time is interstate travel

Just completed 4.5 hr trip from Jacksonville, FL to West Palm Beach, FL and averaged 35mpg. Just 2 of us and a couple of suitcases

Well at 26 highway I’ll still grab the hybrid then. 2k towing is more than enough for my small popup camper.

I'm looking for a small pop-up. Where did you get yours?

My wife and I are going on a vacation in early June that will take us from Dallas to Saint Louis, then to Cedar Rapids Iowa, then to Chicago and then back home.

We will be spending multiple days at each stop.

I actually got lucky. My friend sold me his for $1k simply because he wanted to upgrade. Its still old - 1989, but the AC blows ice cold, and the canvas is perfect. I will need to replace wood this year in the floor and siding though.

I own one and I can’t imagine getting close to 33 highway. I average 44 a tank primarily highway.

I drive 65 miles round trip to work, combination of 4 lane highway and Interstate. Set cruise at 64 and 76. Get between 40 and 42 mpg. Seems to do better in warmer weather. I don't do any city driving.
