Now that the weather is warm. I'm seeing a consistent 55 MPG on City back road driving only. Going to same job site 10 miles one way, sometimes see 60 / 65 MPG when ignition is turned off. Definitely makes me smile. I've done 800 on one tank, so I know these numbers are realistic. How about you.

Here in flat FL I can get about 45-50 without trying on surface roads, which means some stop and go and some stretches around 55-60mph. But that's with the AC always going; I imagine without AC I could do a little better.

To clarify when I say back road, they are paved roads. Typically cutting through backsides of small towns with not many stop signs, maybe a few traffic lights. Typically cruising 40 mph

Now that's what I'm talking about. If that doesn't make you smile nothing will. 40 mph + or - a little, cruising seems to be Peak MPG

Best I can get in Seattle is 550 miles. The city is built on seven hills. No vehicle gets expected mileage here.

My average on my dash is now up to 47 mpg. That is mostly highway. I was traveling interstate 79 in western Pa. at 60-65 mph did have like 10 miles of 45mph construction. Was about a 1 1/2 hr. drive. My avg. milage kept going up. I get way better than what the sticker says.

Good for you guys, but unfortunately for me. Now I noticed on my hybrid the mpg is going less. 😔 City drive here in city drive 91789 ( flat area ) getting only 39-40mpg on 40-45mph limit. Yesterday, went to 25 miles drive freeway from 91789 to 92683 ( flat road ) getting only 37-38mph on 65-70mph speed 😭 that I usually getting 40-45miles ( combine city/highway ) when it was new to 5,000 miles. Then after oil change at the dealer at 5k miles this started lowering the mpg on same weight I have on my trunk.

Agreed. It works that way with regular gas vehicles too...seems to be the sweet spot. I drove to Sudbury, around the city some and back to Hamilton on 7/8 of a tank of gas. Well over 500 miles total.:)

I don't have an opportunity to drive off a tank on all back roads. I do too much highway mixed in. On shorter trips like you are talking about I might get 75+ mpg at times (20 miles in 40 minutes). Have gone 700+, seems like 650 tank combined more likely for me.
