No regrets here either. Where I live in North Carolina FWD is fine; if I need to tow something, I've got an Expedition. The AWD system just adds more weight and complexity to an already complex vehicle. Besides, if it's like our Subaru Outback, if you have to replace one tire you have to...
Judging by the vehicles used by the Fire Departments around here, I'd say it was taxpayers' money well spent. Name any other vehicle they could have purchased even if it was a fully loaded AWD Lariat for the price.
I took my Maverick Hybrid to the dealer I bought it from for it's first oil change; didn't have to mess with struggling to get the filter off, worry about what filter or oil to use, didn't get my clothes dirty from laying on my back on the floor, and got my tires rotated to boot, all for free!
I have a 22' Lariat Hybrid I picked up from the dealer in October of 22'. It now has less that 1900 miles on it; it sits in the garage most of the time. I never use the FordPass app and have never had a problem(knock on wood).
No, I actually bought it to drive. My problem is I have a First Edition, one year only color, that so far, the value has been increasing because of the low mileage. Once that stops and the value goes down, I'll drive it around town on nice days, but as long as I own it, it will never be a...
I waited a year and a half for a 2022 Rapid Red Lariat Hybrid First Edition Maverick. It has every option available at the time and after 8-1/2 months, it has 1729 miles on it. I drive it to work a couple of times a month and it's great to drive, but the KBB value for PtoP is about a third...
I drive 65 miles round trip to work, combination of 4 lane highway and Interstate. Set cruise at 64 and 76. Get between 40 and 42 mpg. Seems to do better in warmer weather. I don't do any city driving.
Can you connect a trickle charger to the 12V battery in a hybrid Maverick? If yes, would you connect it to the battery connections under the hood or to the battery itself?
Congratulations on your new Maverick! I too ordered a FE, but in Rapid Red, in July of 2021 and took delivery the first week of October of this year. Since I gotten it, I've added a strut assist for the tailgate, hood struts, and replaced all the regular bulbs on the exterior of the truck with...
