Help Maverick XLT 2022

Good evening everyone.
I need your help to solve a problem I'm having with my 2022 Maverick XLT. The truck starts briefly and then stalls without any error codes. I replaced the battery with a new one, but the truck still won't start. It tries to start but then stalls. I've left the new battery charging to see if it will start tomorrow. Please help if anyone has experienced this same issue. Thank you.

If it's cranking it over enough to run long enough to then stall - it ain't the battery yet.
Keep that up it obviously will be eventually.

Some of your terms aren't correct with your description.

It starts.
It runs.
It stalls.

You say stalls twice.
You say starts briefly.
But it sounds like you mean it doesn't actually stall, because it doesn't actually run for a couple seconds.

So a better description please - or video.

Sorry, but it could be a lot of things. You need a reputable mechanic shop, not an online forum.

Get it towed to your Ford dealer where it can be properly diagnosed.
Or like the battery another miss diagnosis will cost you.

I wonder if the fuel pump inertia switch was triggered? Almost sounds like a fuel-related problem.

I have had similar problems in older vehicles and it turned out to be fueling problem. In my experience it was never the fuel filter, it was the fuel pump and one time it was the fuel pressure regulator located near the injectors. If you don't have the tools to diagnose the problem, it would be best to take it to a shop for diagnosis and repair.

Sounds like a tow to shop is in order . hopefully it's still under warranty .

This exact (??) problem happened to me last month. Truck starts perfectly, runs 5 seconds, shuts down. It was rodents chewing through the wiring. Cost me $600 to fix. $200 of that was a charge to diagnose the problem. The good news. Ford has complimentary towing to the dealership.

I have never had an issue with my 2023 until today. I was leaving and ran across my brother in law a couple of houses down the street, opened passenger side window and talked for a few minutes. I then heard what sounded like a phone chime and my Maverick bricked on me. I shut everything down and waited a few minutes and still would not work. I waited a few more minutes, opened and closed drivers door and hit the start button and all returned to normal. It was just serviced at a Ford dealer last Wednesday. Going to get my battery tester to test the 12 volt battery under the back seat.

Are you sure you didn't open your door with the trans still in drive? Happened to me the other day while backing up with the door open. Shut the truck right down. Safety feature? I'm not a mechanic, lol.

If it truly doesn't start running - no start.

No, door wasn't opened until I tried the second attempt to start. I did it like I had just got in fresh start. I drove it about 10 miles and tested the 12V battery and my tester said charge and retest. Today it seemed fine but while driving it acted up again losing power and a big red message on the dash saying to pull over immediately if safe.(Paraphrasing) It restarted fine after stopping and checked battery again and battery voltage was 12.01 CCA was 350 Battery health was 47% so I need to take it back to service and see about ordering/installing a BAGM48H6760 battery.
