Was a '23 now a '24 Lariat Lux

On my '24 XLT Hybrid I've done the following:
Enable Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR)
Adding Drive Modes
Stop being locked out of functions due to being in motion
Disable double honk when exiting running vehicle
Enable ECO Coach (indicators about improving fuel economy)

I also disabled the warning for rear passengers not wearing a seatbelt (search for the German YouTube vid for the Ford Focus. It's not done using Easy Mode.)

I've been able to test everything, and all appears to work. I didn't notice any difference after enabling the ECO Coach, possibly because I already had the break coach turned on. The rear seatbelt warning disable appears to only disable the chime but not the popup on the cluster. I have not noticed any bad side effects. The only difference I wasn't expecting is that some of the icons changed for the drive modes (that I already had) after I enabled all of them - namely, the Eco Mode icon.

My dream is to have Eco Mode on by default. I read some of the thread to do that with an add-on electronic switch and timer, but I don't want to go that route - at least not until we give the ForScan community more time to figure out how to do it using built-in settings. I am also considering doing the adaptive cruise mod because I expected my build to have that since I have Co-Pilot 360; I was very disappointed that it didn't. The TSR was a very welcome feature add!

Big thanks to @Toinky and all the others who have contributed to this thread! It makes searching for ForScan mods much easier when they are consolidated like this.
I am curious as to how well the Maverick does with TSR? I am driving a 2023 Suzuki Vitara Hybrid on vacation that has TSR and on 3 or 4 occasions it has messed up… I think on them all it showed 50Kph in 90 zones. I am just a few weeks from delivering now so making my list of things I want to do…

In my personal experience it's above 95% accurate, but it's not bulletproof.

There's a specific speed sign near my house that clearly says 60 and is always, always recognized as 70. It's not obscured by anything from the camera's perspective, uses the same font as the other signs, is clean and the numbers aren't damaged, etc. I really can't figure it out and I program industrial machine vision systems at work.

I haven't had a misreading as yet, though my Garmin had a handful frequently.

Very cool job! I programmed vision-guided industrial tugs and pallet movers for assembly plants and warehouses. It was a good gig until Covid shut down our clients and mass layoffs followed, but it was fun while it lasted.

Nice, very cool. We are doing our first AGV/AMR project this year but our usual jam is integrated Fanuc robot cells. We definitely try to stay away from automotive world for the reasons you mentioned. Stayed pretty consistently busy out in General Industry.

Anyone else with a Lariat Hybrid not able to find the APIM module with Forscan? Or, conversely, have you found the APIM module? My OBD II reader is supposed to be for Forscan specifically.

I've seen Fanuc robots on site and I always enjoyed watching them do the 'twist' in their cages.

I wish the All Windows Open feature was on the XLT Lux. We have the all windows open on the bronco and its great during the summer to vent the car as we approach. However, I would caution people with kids to think twice about the all windows close feature. It could accidently close on their fingers.
Agreed.

I had no luck locating the how to video you mentioned, is the temp setting in the HSWM section?

Thanks
Yessir: of course, it's in Celsius but there's conversion tables on the interwebs.

Agreed with the subjective assessment of 95%. In fact, the only "error" I've seen is when it says 25 in a school zone "when children are present." I guess it can't decipher the presence of children... yet. ;)

On the Eco Coach, I'm not sure if I am not on the correct "tab" on the cluster display, but it still just shows the Break Coach when I'm coming to a stop. I haven't noticed anything new there.
On mine (Lariat w/ larger cluster), after enabling with Forscan, you have to go screen settings and enable the coach screen to even show up. Then you can scroll through until you land on the ECO Coach screen.

Yep, same here on my Lariat as well.

That's okay...some drivers can't, either.

I saw a commercial van pass a stopped school bus with it's red lights and stop signs deployed. He passed it on the shoulder, ffs!
I hope the bus had cameras to grab the plate and name of the business that owns the van...

There was a woman doing that habitually in the morning in NY but she would go on the sidewalk. Parents finally called the cops and they waited for her the next day. Caught her and got a hefty fine.

How would she live with the knowledge that her deliberate, reckless action took someone's child from them?

Exactly, but if her kid was on that bus she’d be bitching to the school and news12.

Forscan is awesome btw. Still getting used to using it but it’s so much fun. I feel like I’m in a F&F movie lol.
