Tin foil hat theory may be the case. Who knows what Ford had in mind when they first signed the contract with AT&T. The new contract may be more in line with Ford's current plans but older vehicles may get dropped as a result. Its not relating to the version of Android I have. I'm running an S22 running Android 13.
I guess we'll see what happens on the 24th. As others have said, if it was relating to the 3G shutdown, that happened over a year ago.
My tin foil hat opinion is that Ford signed a 5 year agreement with AT&T for data service for vehicles to provide those services and that contract is now up for the older vehicles and Ford doesn't want to enter into a new contract.
