Mine failed to do a scheduled remote start this morning around 5:30 AM Pacific. Bummer.

Yep, and whatever they "fixed" broke again yesterday afternoon and hasn't come back since. Hot garbage.

Does anyone know if this is only happening with the 2025 Mavericks or is it also happening with the 2025 Escapes and other Sync 4 platforms?

Also, so much for quality holds and having your vehicle selected for extra testing. I don't know what extra they testing they did, but it obviously wasn't the FordPass connection.

This is currently happening to my 4 day old 2025 XL. I lost connection to the vehicle yesterday 12 hours ago while parked at work. I made a couple stops and it stayed in the driveway all night.

I called Ford this morning and performed SYNC resets and disabled/enabled connectivity with no change. I was advised to bring back to the dealer for a "modem reset". I will update on what is found.

Join the club. Mine started working again last night after three days offline. Let's see how long it lasts.

Someone posted on reddit yesterday that they've been able to force the truck to reconnect by disconnecting the 12V battery for a minute. Definitely something that we shouldn't be doing every three days.

The app just informed me that it had been removed due to master reset (8 hours after the fact). I tried a re-pairing and now everything is back up and running...

Well that was frustrating.

My app stopped working again. My last location update was 20 hours ago. I wonder how long it will take until it works again. Definitely an annoying bug.

I've had my 2025 for less than a week and have been having this issue as well. I managed to get it re-connected once (which lasted less than 24 hours), which involved trying a variety of things, but none of them worked, so I think the issue is intermittent and likely on their end. It seems to be that the modem's connection drops out - it doesn't seem to be on the app / phone side at all. A quick test if you have Alexa is to just see if the wake word works. If it doesn't, your truck's modem is offline.

Fordpass support did advise me NOT to remove and re-add the truck to the app (a suggestion I've seen on a few posts), since can mess with connected services settings.

I'm taking it in tomorrow for them to take a look, which I imagine will involve a modem reset. Will follow up. Interested to hear others' experience.

I have had it happen once so far in a week of owning the truck using it but admittedly I do not use it much. Keep us posted.

Mine usually starts working after 24 hours. It’s happened twice so far.

After not having a connection for 24 hours, I opened the app and was prompted to "connect to vehicle" (as if it were a new connection, although the vehicle was already in the app since I didn't remove it), so I followed the prompts, started it up, and it's re-connected.

Anyone know if this is... just what happens when you have to re-establish a connection, or if something Ford maybe reset on their end which forced a re-connection?

You would think that there would be a pop-up on dash = "your modem has no signal - try again later".

After over a week of it working, this morning... no connection. Dealer can't see it until the 17th of next month if I want a loaner (and they want to keep it for 2-3 days to examine it.

Question: Last weekend, it did not get driven on Sunday and barely on Saturday. Could this be the '25's version of the battery problem? I've seen it suggested, but felt the evidence (nothing else is having an issue) was against it, especially with the '25 hybrids having an ADM battery (and this issue not being limited to the hybrids).

I don't think it's a battery issue. When it happens to my truck it usually does it while I'm at work. I did notice it happened on Friday both times. Not sure if that means anything but definitely weird.

I don't have any issues with mine but would suspect available bandwidth OR signal strength. If your truck is parked inside garage that could restrict signal strength. I don't know if the truck would use your wifi signal if it was better than the AT&T but would expect it to.
