Since I can’t use remote start from the phone App due to constant “low battery” issue, I found likely better solution. Ford Parts had 20% Off promo, so I got 2-pack of single button remote starter FOBs.
I regret I passed on the $14 key installation offer, seems that FOB installation has changed on Maverick, none of the 3 known to me methods work (8x key trick, 2 key FOBs or the MyKey).
The installation routine secret is hidden in the PDF instructions file available only with dealer logon. I have additional XLT luxury package on 23 XLT, and it the perimeter alarm, so remote start FOB key should work.
Does anyone have access to instructions file?

Called Ford on 4/22 and got parts tech who said that this FOB requires VSS Module installation, he gave me module number KN1Z19A361A, the same model that didn't work for my dealer's parts guy. This module is marked on Fords own site as not compatible with 2023 Maverick, but FOB is marked as compatible, and NOT RETURNABLE. So Ford is selling stuff that they know it can't be installed. My guess is that truck can't handle two VSS systems at the same time, because factory installed VSS is incorporated into BCM module, and BSM module is not compatible with "compatible" FOB.
Seeing this module as non installable on my truck, I called Ford again, this time I got pretty knowledgeable guy who got startled seeing that this module will not work wit Ford Maverick. He provided me with his email contact to forward my mail to Engineering at Maverick. I asked them also to enable return of my purchase due to Ford error. As of today no reply, maybe will hear back next week.

Not having any answers, I followed up my Ford mail contact the following week, he had no explanation except to call 800-ford -Key for help. Ford Key technician replied that they serve only dealers, no much help here. Finally, I called Ford Customer Relations Center and got lucky with a lady that went out of her way to help. At first, she checked the FOB JS7Z15K601C on her system, and noticed it was marked as “no fit” for Maverick Hybrid, I led her to Ford website that showed the same marked as an “exact fit”, she acknowledged the error, called my dealer’s parts department and asked to accept the “non-returnable” return, and just days ago I got refund on my credit card.
This was a hard way to find there is no FOB remote start solution for Ford Maverick Hybrid. Originally, when I ordered the truck, I was told that the remote start option was moved to the App, and I had no idea that App will not work due to permanent “low battery” issue.
