no luck with the tire, but i did manage to record it...
it happens around 27-28mph. doesn't seem to matter whether the ice engine is on or not, and ac being on or off isn't a factor either.
i tried eq-ing it and band-passing it to isolate it a bit.
it's around 200hz - so it's low and likely...
It isn’t the AVAS / pedestrian alert sound - I’m familiar with those. This is a mechanical sound. Thinking it may have something to do with the electric motor since it’s audible before the ICE engine kicks in.
Yes - all of them, several times... it's intermittent, so it sounds like something in the tire since it seems to happen at about the same rate, but only in that speed range.
This is going to be a little hard to describe - I'm not sure this noise has come up before or maybe I missed it, but my 2025 Hybrid makes a sort of repetitive rubbery noise that sounds like it's coming from the front driver's side at around 25mph.
It almost sounds like something in the tire...
Hi All,
Another update: it's been over 3 months now with no news on parts availability and State Farm won't total out the vehicle. And I say this as a very enthusiastic (probably former) Maverick owner: my perspective is still that the 2025 Maverick isn't repairable. This has been a very...
Here's a screenshot from a Ford parts manager that was kind enough to look this up for me. I can't believe these aren't available - especially since Mavericks are still being made (although I realize parts and the manufacturing line for new vehicles are 2 different chains.)
Definitely a...
Thanks, all! The part number is PU5Z12A581AXB. In my experience - parts often show up online listed as "in stock" but they aren't. I'll do some investigating - I'll try OE Connection later today.
My Maverick (Hybrid Lariat) was in an accident in July - relatively minor, no injuries, and not at fault, for whatever that's worth.
Unfortunately though, the ECU connection is on the driver's side bumper, and that was knocked loose and damaged, which made it un-drivable.
It's been at the shop...
Did anyone with the issue not upgrade from a previous model? I did, and I’m wondering if that’s a factor. Mine’s been ok since it sort of reset itself.
After not having a connection for 24 hours, I opened the app and was prompted to "connect to vehicle" (as if it were a new connection, although the vehicle was already in the app since I didn't remove it), so I followed the prompts, started it up, and it's re-connected.
Anyone know if this...
I've had my 2025 for less than a week and have been having this issue as well. I managed to get it re-connected once (which lasted less than 24 hours), which involved trying a variety of things, but none of them worked, so I think the issue is intermittent and likely on their end. It seems to be...
Well... still no updates and dealer is still claiming some kind of hold, which I'm not sure I believe. Not what to do at this point - thinking about just asking for my deposit back to at least see where that leads.
This has been my experience too, and according to my window sticker, mine shipped by convoy, not rail - although I'm not sure what the shipping route / process is.
been waiting awhile since my shipped date. no updates since the 12th
apparently it's in illinois (i'm in the chicago area), and dealer claims there's some kind of hold
Order confirmed on 8/2, in production on 11/23 - not updates at all since then. Not expecting much news this week with the holidays but I'm starting to wonder whether mine got lost in the shuffle or something. It does have a window sticker though.
