I know there aren’t allowing rollovers but I would ask your dealer to set you at the highest priority code they can.
Yep, that was part of the convo as well. We'll be at 10 which is good enough for me.

Ordering wasn't open in April.
This is true.

You will be putting in your first order in July. I hope you use a different dealer. Good luck!

It's a crap shoot.

I would ask the dealer for more specifics about how many Maverick orders they put in, where you were in that line, and how many allocations they received. The fact that not all orders would be fulfilled has been publicly known since Sept. 2022. That explanation doesn't explain why YOU won't get yours. The only unknowns are where each of us sit among the dealer's priorities and allocation, and in what order Ford picks to build them. If they are so certain you won't get yours I would ask why they are so confident about your order specifically. Maybe their conclusion is without merit. Maybe they knew from day one you didn't have a chance. All important information to improve your chances and decisions down the road.

That's been the news since Ford started producing the Maverick. At least you heard from your dealer.

After a 375 days waiting my dealer has informed me that Ford cannot fill all the orders for 2023 and i will only get my truck if I’m lucky and may have to order a 2024.
Quit your whining. I have been waiting 596 days and I don't have a vin number. at least you have only been out a year. Hopefully toyota will release the stout in 2024

I think a few people in this thread are missing the fact that OP has an Ecoboost and not a hybrid order.

Dealer doesn't tell customer their allocations vs. number of orders, then blames it on Ford when they take too many orders.

When will Ford know which orders will be fulfilled and which will not?

I was wrong it says May 3 on my paperwork
April...May...no matter. That wasn't an order.

The point trying to be made was that US 2022 Hybrid ordering ENDED in November 2021 and 2022 EB ordering ended in January 2022.

2023 ordering opened and closed in September 2022 for both types. NOTHING was open (in the US) between late January 2022 and September 2022. Some dealers PRETENDED to take "orders" in between those dates, but none of these "orders" went to Ford...just a list at your dealership.

I love Ford. I don’t always like some of the things they do with the manufacturing like moving out of the US, but I still am a Ford fan. However, this idea they have of going to an order only purchase program is not working. I know Covid was a problem with the rollout of this new program, but that was a few years past. Ford needs to manufacture these vehicles and put them on the sales lot. They cannot keep up with the order process.
