So what happens to those of us who ordered in the Fall and still have not heard anything? Is there a cut off date where those orders will get pushed into a '23 model.

Hybrid xlt ordered set. 15 th 2021 received May 05 th.

There’s been no direction for this yet. I’m preparing for the worst and expecting to have to do a complete new order.

Been on this site for a while, first post, and I hope this is the appropriate thread. Order confirmed by Ford on 9/30/2021, XL hybrid with bed cover, no other options. I got my DORA order number from my dealer (Buffalo, NY area), and chatted with Ford customer service. She provided that I'm "scheduled for production" 6/20/22, and also provided me with a VIN

Is this significant, especially the VIN, and can I get my hopes up? I've not yet received the "Scheduled for Production" email, and the order tracking still shows Order Confirmed

I think you can pretty much count on getting your car by the fall. Now, it's definitely possible production slips past june, but probably not more than a few weeks.

I have the same issue. Ford chat told me my truck would be built May 18th and I've heard nothing. The dealer doesn't know where they got that idea.

Now, the chat won't answer any questions about build dates. So I'm guessing they handed out too many bad dates??

Thanks for the replies. I guess I was hoping that the assignment of a VIN was significant in some way...

My order info is in my signature. Crickets for me so far. I was told I was in priority 2, but what does that really mean at this point? I guess you could say its progress.

Now I come here to read no scheduling this coming week. So another week wasted. I know I'll love the truck when I get it, but the wait is getting really old.

Just got this email from Ford, 5/25/22, 12:49pm

We are excited to let you know your 2022 Maverick XL has been scheduled for production. Your vehicle is scheduled to be built the week of June 20, 2022.

Mentioned previously, XL Hybrid, no options other than a bed cover, order confirmed 9/30/21

6/6 pushed back to 6/13 per Ford chat. Production week email finally arrived today (12:49 PM eastern) with a build date of...tada...6/20.

9/13 hybrid XLT w/hitch

Talked to Ford today and they tell me I have a build date of May 28th! I placed my order on Sept 7th for a XLT Hybrid Area 51 with Floor mats, full size spare and tow package!

I'm seeing that those that have a build date do not have the lux package. Congrats on your build.

i've been behind the wheel of my ecoboost for 6 months now.
indicated fuel mileage is 29.6 in my daily commute, 5000 miles on it now and has only left the city limits once and that wasn't very far.
sunglass holder latch has failed, but will wait to see if it has any real issues before i alert the dealer to a warranty claim.

Confirmed XLT Hybrid Lux 360 area 51 9-30-2021.... dealer said allocation given and updated priority number but constraints have it held up... nothing new going on month 8..... I have purchased a similar hybrid area 51 with 360 no lux which is what I really wanted using loving until my order comes in. I plan to trade it in when my order arrives.... ( no build date yet lol) Hopeful now for a MY23
