The switch is a 3 wire analog rocker switch. The factory switch isn’t a switch at all, but a digital module that sends a request to the BCM for power. You may could get these to work with a factory switch from an f150, but it’ll have to be controlled by the BCM. So there will be more wiring and programming the BCM to get it done. I’ll just live with the rocker switch included. I’m going to mount mine in the center stack between the USB and Cigar Lighter as long as there isn’t anything behind the panel in that location.

Outstanding! Been drooling over these since first announced by DD. Question: What does the cabin switch they provide look like? I'm hoping the harness can be easily adapted to work with the F-150 or Bronco light controls that have the integrated fog on/off feature.

You can hide the switch under the dash if you won't to leave the foglights on when the low Beams come on, and the Amber's when you put the park lights on.

Good quality and legally aligned fog lights are going to cost about $100 each anyway, so I'd say this is a good deal.

Thopse look like they're designed for the Tremor with tow hooks, not so much for the rest.

I'm not sure your looking at the right truck. The light kit is specifically designed for the regular Maverick, with no FX4 or Tremor package my friend. My TREMOR is in the driveway. Jjc-llc.com has a few more options. If you want a different look. I believe this is the smoothest out there.

Wasn't yours I was talking about. The original post I quoted didn't post for some reason. There was another post with a different lamp on an L bracket from someone else that mounted next to the tow hooks. Can't find it now. I ordered the same one s you did except in yellow.

I like the kit but the problem I have is that I have fender flares on my truck that in addition to using the push pins on the inside of the fender well are also attached via 3m tape to the outside of the fender. installing this kit would require that I take those off and then putting them back on would be problematic as I would have to try and redo the 3m tape, not sure I would be able to get the same seal that I have now... guess Im just stuck with the backup lights for now. and for the love of mankind, no one says booyah anymore!

Good to know! I ordered the Mabett fender flares and fog lights so I will install the lights first....both just got shipped to me so I'll have them this week. I have the Ford mudflaps so I don't know if they will have to be modified to work with the Mabett fender flares too.

Ford the switch I ordered about 4 different pushbuttons in 12,16 and 19mm sizes to see what works best in the open area on the right hand side of the headlight panel insert. They should look nice in that spot and as close to a factory option as possible without messing with a new headlight control module and software.

Good to know! I ordered the Mabett fender flares and fog lights so I will install the lights first....both just got shipped to me so I'll have them this week. I have the Ford mudflaps so I don't know if they will have to be modified to work with the Mabett fender flares too.

I have the Muslogy mudflaps and didnt have to modify them to fit although it was a tight fit. don't know about the Ford ones.
