BOOYAH πŸ‘ŠπŸ½ 😁 πŸ‘πŸ½ πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ to all the guys at Diode Dynamics. They came out with a great kit for the Maverick.

It looks great the light is awesome. And I still can't believe it. The new daytime running light addition ✨️ just adds even more reason to love your truck.

I attached some some photos, of course a lot of them lol.

Diode Dynamics lights are awesome. I installed the amber on my Forester and would not trade them for anything. They are very wide and the amber cuts through the fog. I will definitely plan on installing these on my Maverick

Good to know! I ordered the Mabett fender flares and fog lights so I will install the lights first....both just got shipped to me so I'll have them this week. I have the Ford mudflaps so I don't know if they will have to be modified to work with the Mabett fender flares too.

Ford the switch I ordered about 4 different pushbuttons in 12,16 and 19mm sizes to see what works best in the open area on the right hand side of the headlight panel insert. They should look nice in that spot and as close to a factory option as possible without messing with a new headlight control module and software.
If you don’t know the fog light set up is such that when installed they come on automatically with low beam headlights and marker lights when headlights aren’t on (daytime running lights) When high beams go on they turn off. the switch is just for overall power to the fogs and doesn't effect their use when wired direct the way Diode has them set to do.

What did you use to cut the holes for the lights. Is it hard to remove the bumper or just plastic body clips?

I don't want them wired that way....I am rewiring so that the amber foglight is on when the truck is running and the fogs are controlled by my switch regardless of the high or low beam. This is how I always wire up my fog so I control them not the vehicle. I may wire it so the white fogs are only on when the headlights are on..not sure. But I want my fogs available with my high beams regardless. I never understood that concept of turing them off with the highs on..makes no sense at all.

How hard is the installation? What experience level is needed to install?

You can hide the switch under the dash if you won't to leave the foglights on when the low Beams come on, and the Amber's when you put the park lights on.

Just to confirm something...I have Lariat with the DLRs active when the truck is on. My my front amber parking lights only come when dusk unless I manually activate them. Did Diode have you tap into the ambers lights such that their amber lights are on only when the trucks amber lights are on? The amber lights are really called parking lights since they are not normally on versus running lights that are usually always on even in daylight...like the DLRs.

I watched the install video, but curious of real world experience’s with how hard it is to remove and reinstall the front bumper without breaking a bunch of clips etc…

The fact that Ford didn’t include fog lights as an option and/or part of the Lariat package should get some hack decision maker the boot. They could have made yet another few bucks very easily. I applaud the fog light install here. I think I’ll do it!

Very easy, slow a steady wins the race. You might pull a couple apart , but no broken ones. You'd just pop them back together.
