My kit came in yesterday. I checked it all out. The light housings are OEM quality. Like most, my hang up is the switch. I will install these in the springtime. I am l looking at different switches than the one the kit has. I am thinking of mounting whatever switch I decide on where I am pointing in the pic. Its wide open space behind it.

They have a switch in the kit, and there is away to the run the light without the switch. However you can hide the switch.

I have the light come on with my regular lights, and didn't worry to turn them off

BOOYAH to all the guys at Diode Dynamics. They came out with a great kit for the Maverick.

It looks great the light is awesome. And I still can't believe it. The new daytime running light addition ✨️ just adds even more reason to love your truck.

Looks great but I have one concern. Because it an electrical upgrade, would installing it affect your warranty?

I doubt it, because it has it's own complete wiring harness. It ties in at the trucks battery, and has 2 sensing wires one detects low beam, and one detects high beam. DOT regs require aux lights like driving or fogs to be wired to automatically turn off when the high beams are turned on.

Looks great, thinking about ordering some. Someone posted asking about cutting which make me uneasy. Did you hide the switch or tie it into the lights? Thanks!

It's nice when an aftermarket company puts enough time into developing a product that not just works well but looks like it could have been a factory option. I'm impressed with how it blends in with the Mavericks design and looks like it was a Ford option.
The other nice thing about this kit, is even if you want to remove and paint your lower trim panels to match your body color, these can still be installed right out of the box and look like an OEM item.

Since I'm a bit less than impressed with the lighting of the headlights in several conditions, this is definitely one aftermarket product I'm considering to add to my Maverick.

dang! $300(plus) for fog lights? oh,well.

A factory kit, if it's even offered, could easily cost you that much and it's not even assured that it would be an LED lamp. On the other hand, an OE kit might also include a new headlamp switch w/ a separate "fog lamp" switch. But, again, that's if the OE made a kit to begin with.

Now to convince my other half that I need to order a set and have them installed when the front lift kit is done.

Yea there isn't a OEM option or offering.

This is how they should be though.
