Important You do not have to remove the glove compartment in order to access the fuse box
This is the passenger compartment panel you have to remove to access the fuse box 👇👇👇

Be interesting to see where this goes. They are hiding behind laws that have not caught up with the tech and data mining.

Basic premise is that one cannot have a expectation of having a right to privacy when out in public and would be no different if you had a nosey neighbor that sat on their front porch all day and recorded your comings and goings and sold that info. Creepy but not illegal on it's face.

Sure, but they can be compelled to turn over your data to police if there is a warrant.
Which would then mean the authorities have to put in the effort to actually get a warrant. Even if warrants are handed out like candy, they have to have SOMETHING tying you to the supposed crime to get one.

Meanwhile, PDs use FLOCKs to immediately assume guilt without bothering with pesky warrants.
No, but i bet they could shut our engines down if compelled to by the courts or law enforcement. A Tesla could lock your doors and drive you to the police station. Could you imagine if that car got hacked??
See above. Also, there's no legal precidence for Ford shutting down the engine or locking the doors. That would be false imprisonment, Ford has no legal authority to prevent you from leaving your vehicle.

They really need to update the law: anything seen on the FLOCK needs to be taken with a grain of salt, it alone cannot be used for a warrant because they keep making such simple mistakes, and you need to actually prove the footage matches a crime.

We need far more oversight, accountability, and transparency on how and where that data ends up. But the fact there is so much resistance to that tells me they LIKE abusing this power and wont give it up easily.

Well, if you see, I was referring to the Tesla when it came to locking doors and self driving to police. I read an article from a Tesla engineer that was saying it could lock the doors, etc in theory. I only said that Ford could shut off the truck if by a court order. It can't self drive or lock you in.. I hope Ford would never do that.

I don’t think I’m interesting enough for someone to want to watch me.

They got satellites that can read my text off my phone over my shoulders while I’m IN DOORS
Sitting on the toilet looking at porn.

You guys got way too much time on your hands ya know ?

Fear is the mind killer ~~~

Well I can agree with the concerns, there's pro's and con's in technology and unfortunately the misuse of it which has come to light. But to me looking at society today, we're being videoed most everywhere we go, most every business has cameras inside and outside, long with a very large portion of folks homes have cameras covering their property/streets if its nothing less than one of those ring door bells that have a camera. I can see where they help protect society, then there's the limited human misuse element of it that's an invasion.

If it could be changed then ok but it can’t.
Business video surveillance is the right of said business.
I’ve been in loss prevention and documented many useless employees sitting around playing with their phones on the clock.
Talking to them did nothing.
30-60-90 days and they’re fired.

Traffic cams, I love em, we need more.

Ford dropped the ball on my 360 degree cameras on my Tremor.
They should have record abilities. A cheap digital hard drive would have been nice.

Think of the fun moron driver you tubes we could make !!!
