The towbar baseplate that gets mounted to the truck will likely protrude from the two plugs for the FX4 tow hooks. I hope they are pretty easy to knock out.

740 miles of towing my Maverick in the last 2 days.

My Maverick Hybrid Lariat is doing great. No problems with getting it out of neutral tow and running it between tows. I think the Push Button start makes things a bit simpler than the key process on an XLT where I've seen some discussions of "stuck in neutral tow. I am going to be religious about starting the engine and running it as I haven't always been compliant with some other toweds. I don't want an issue there.

The Demco baseplate and Roadmaster Falcon 2 towbar mate together well with the Roadmaster RM-034 adaptors.

I just returned from my first trip with the Maverick XLT being towed behind our class A motor home. No issues engaging or disconnecting it from behind the MH.

Made it home from 2622 miles towing our 2023 Maverick Lariat with Demco Baseplate/Roadmaster Falcon 2 towbar in the last 13 days. Super easy connections and disconnections (used RM-034 adaptors).

NO Neutral Tow problems and I drove it several times during the trip.

VERY happy with my little Ford Transit LTV (Class C-gas) towing it and getting 13.5 mpg overall from Gillette, WY over the Montana/Idaho passes, then Snoqualmie Pass in WA, and then down to Oregon and across lower Idaho and over the 7100 ft level near Rawlins, WY.
