I felt for the daughter. We were getting close to the point where we were going to have to talk to my dad about giving up the keys, too, before he passed suddenly due to pancreatic cancer. Every time I viisted my dad for the past few years I'd look at the back of his car and assess the scrapes and dings in the bumper. He was getting bad. It's not an easy thing to come to terms with.Well done for keeping things in perspective - which is something that doesn't feel very common nowadays. Sorry it happened to your truck.
I will add, however, that the old gentleman's family needs to be responsible and know when the license needs to be taken away. Don't have enough facts to know if that's the case here.
