I'm still confused here. Maybe you don't have your Maverick yet, but the Maverick is a truck. I'm looking at a red Maverick pretty straight between the lines. Hell if anything, it is a little far to the left while getting hit from the right by someone who has crossed about five to six inches...
Can't believe they broke three windows. You'd think it would be easier and quicker to just break one and unlock the truck.
Glad insurance is covering the claim and you were able to get a repair scheduled so quickly!
Clear coat is really just for aesthetics with a little bit of protection (not much). Most vehicles on the road will have a clear coat. The Maverick should already have a clear coat on it, but apparently Ford really skimped on the paint with the thinnest possible layer of clear coating.
The soapy water is intentionally to prevent it from sticking. This gives you time to adjust the positioning of the decal. This is how advert decals are applied to race cars and the such. It lets you slide it around until it is in the perfect spot then you can squeegee the water out or just let...
Probably not. As EVs stand now, they are put around town vehicles. Aerodynamics are super important as well, so throwing anything in the bed or using the tow hitch would murder your mileage in ways that I would not appreciate.
I'm so happy to see this thread. I've had my truck for just a couple of days and have apologised excessively to my girlfriend for my braking. I just thought I had to get used to how the vehicle handles.
