Thanks. Appreciate the reply.yes, they will absolutely need it.
if you valet often you could consider programming one of the fobs as a mykey with limits. I doubt a lot attendant would choose a maverick to hoon in, risking their job, but you could technically set it up for that purpose.

Isn't there also a "valet mode" in the Sync system too? To keep them from messing with vehicle settings.yes, they will absolutely need it.

I completely forgot about that. Yes, you and I do have that, but it's sync 3 only. I've never used it but seems extremely simple.Isn't there also a "valet mode" in the Sync system too? To keep them from messing with vehicle settings.
I just saw that option. Petty simple. I'll use that feature. Thanks for the reply.Isn't there also a "valet mode" in the Sync system too? To keep them from messing with vehicle settings.
If you limited it with mykey, yes I think that's possible for the truck to sync with the wrong fob.Would having a second fob just for valet use on you at all times affect the truck in anyway? Conflict over which fob is in the drivers seat?
It is one use for the "my key" system where you can set limits on how fast the key can allow the vehicle to go and all that jazz. The my key system also directly tracks how far it's being driven with that key in use. So if you give them that key you can tell if it's driven under 1 mile to a lot, or 10 miles for a joyride.I have a 2024 lariat. When valet parking do I give the attendant my key fob?
