@fordvideoguy : I orderd back in Oct '21 a XLT AWD Ecoboost with lux, copilot 360, FX4, etc. I'm assuming I am one of those customers that will most likely get pushed to a '23 order. I guess the silver lining is now I can order the Tremor package. Any idea what options will be considered a "constraint" when we place our new orders? How long will it take to get our new '23 trucks if we are considered "priority" orders from 2022?
Are you sure you have a COVP approved order? I don't have any ecoboost orders unscheduled earlier than December (well one in November) but the other 99 are all in December and January. I would double check that you have an approved order with your dealer.

23 will have the same constraint items probably, not sure on time.

How do I know if it is a COVP approved order? I received the original email from Ford once my order was placed as well as the follow-up emails discussing the constraints. I also have my order from the Dealer with my build options.

I got it when I did because my friend who got it for me worked at Ford HQ and was retiring at the end of October 2021. Neither of us expected it would take more than a year to get the truck.

He had been trying to talk me into buying an F150 for years but it was just too big for my needs.
Retirees can create pins until they die. Just ask them to make you a new one.

See this post for an example screenshot, I've seen different versions posted, your looking for the word "Approved" from the communication from Ford that includes your order number/code. If you don't have it, have your dealer show you proof, i.e. screenshot, printed document, email, etc.

If you received the recent email from Ford then you have an approved order. There must be a major constraint in your order then not to be scheduled by now.

Its hard to believe there are not others with my same build from Oct/Nov. Plus, I ordered from one the largest fleet dealers, Galpin Ford. I am happy to go with the new Tremor package though so maybe it will all work out if I don't have to wait another year for the truck.

I have your same build. Only got scheduled 2 weeks ago. I believe there are still plenty of October ecoboosts unscheduled. Keep checking everyday as I got my vin on a Saturday.

I called Ford they told me I was at priority two. My dealer assures me I have a covp. I have received the Ford emails. That is my biggest fear. Waiting 7 months and being told I have no order would suck. Loaded Lariat awd just wish I didn't order the stupid mudflaps.

If mud flaps are the problem, Ford is being stupid, why hold up a sale for an item the dealer can order and install?

My dealer got curious and looked up all the dealer install-able items on my order and told me they were in stock and could be at his dealership within 7-14 days. So parts seem to be available, just not at the factory. . .

Bundling the SIBL into the lux package when the dealer can sub it out, is also a head scratcher. I would have liked the SIBL to be a separate item at the dealer so I could get it colored matched. (black is hard to see at night)

If Ford is diverting batteries from 1 year old orders into higher MSRP products, they have no regard for their customers.

It looks like my hybrid Lariat lux will be a MY23, or MY24, or MY25.

I don’t think Ford is diverting 1.1kWh Maverick hybrid batteries to other products. And I don’t think you’re going to be delayed 3 years.

This forum could use less drama and conspiracy theories.

I Agee 100%. I want lariat Lux but the sibl I would have dropped if I could. I would bet they take it out of that package for the 23's. The mudflaps? Who would of thought a molded plastic part would be so constrained. Still find that hard to believe, maybe the mold got damaged and Ford does not want to build a new one?

Depends on where the mud flaps are made but some plastics are in short supply. Could be Ford’s supplier is having trouble getting enough materials to produce what Ford ordered.

Or the container full of mud flaps from China fell off a container ship mid-Pacific. You never know these days.

I just had a Ford dealer send me an unsolicited text saying 2023 Maverick order bank opens September 15. Is that the actual date now, or did this internet person just send me fake news?
