To those referring to Fords handling of this gong show in the past tense please stop, the latest is just a continuation of incompetence so it should be referred to in the present tense…
The only reason Ford jumped on the allocation policy now is to try and shift current and future angry customers to the dealers.
“Its not our fault, we just build it- your dealer is the problem why you didn’t get your truck/cost/interest/deal”
If they think they’re not going to wear any of the excrement that flings from the fan over this they truly are broken.
Thanks Ford, for nothing, but a wasted year…

I think they're trying to get across that any package that has more options is a constraint, but yeah it's not a good look lol
And no mention of problems with the trailer hitch as someone said their delay was from the hitch. Looks like more miss information 😕

that was great ,thanks I called ford customer service 10min ago, he said im in system, but no vin. so I need to reorder ,I said I know, then he said I have a Cert.# for your offer to re-order, I said great, why did FORD not email me or call or mail it ?? of course he did not know. I got it, called my dealer Mullinax Ford ( they have 8-10 stores) and they seem in the dark, through this whole order mess. I ordered hybrid xlt, one opt, trailer hitch 10/21 11 months ago. , maybe we will have a 2023 ???
Do you have the number you called? I've called them before and must have talked to the wrong person because they never know anything. So, are we supposed to call Ford Customer Service for the cert# then? Fun times everyone...

went in today (14th)1pm central time and placed the order with the dealer He copied my DL and CC info and will place my order tomorrow (15th) I go in sign authorize the CC payment.

Did they give you the expected price of your build? Based on the other posts, it sounds like hybrid orders are expected to go up $2,750 based on private offers offered to MY22 orders.

I spent 30 plus years at Ford. When Jac Nassar became CEO Ford went in the dumper. Still circling the drain.

I have former coworkers still there. Some of the stories OMG. Most counting the days.
My dad got two free cars from Jacques! Thanks CIRS!

I contacted Ford Chat and they said to contact Ford Marketing to get the Cert. I then called Ford Marketing and was told that I did not have a Private Offer Cert in their system yet. Said that dealers have between Sept 12th and 15th to do something in the system to acknowledge that a customer wanted to roll over from a MY22 to a MY23. I created a new post this afternoon on this subject since I REALLY hope the lady at Ford Marketing gave me bad info. However, if she did give me bad info, I really need to know the steps required to get my Cert so that I can place a new order tomorrow. After waiting an entire year, I am about to go nuts regarding Ford incompetence.

I asked my dealer about your findings, and they responded that they have read all Maverick communications from Ford and there is nothing in them saying they have to do something.
