Here's my Lincoln cover, installed yesterday....added the EB emblem instead of leaving the Lincoln emblem. Just had to add the one ball stud, and the stud/nut combo, fit perfectly, and looks great!

It's pricey, but it's a quality piece, coated metal w/threaded attachment holes. Stick-on will not work on the engine covers, the material is not stick-on friendly.

Did the included 'Grill Mount' hardware suffice for mounting or did you need to do something else?

Worked perfectly, I just added a little silicone sealer to the threads to keep the nuts from loosening.

From what I've read, early Mavericks had the cover. Only reason they all don't have them is 2 fold, supply chain issues compounded by manufacture going oh, we don't need this let's save money.
Same goes for the eye glasses holder in the headliner, digital temperature display knobs etc
I believe that no Maverick came from the factory with an engine cover. None. The reason they are not installed AND NLA is that they cost money. The sole reason for them to have been deleted from factory production(not just Maverick, Ranger too, and maybe Escape) is the dollars it cost for the fasteners and the cover itself. They were added originally to compete with the Lexus/Mercedes/Audi/BMW that had factory engine covers. Some where you open the hood, and all you see is plastic...
The eye glass holders in the overhead were not included if you ordered a moonroof. I had thought them still being supplied in non-moonroof vehicles.

Thought y’all might like seeing the engine bay cleaned up a little. I bought the cover available for the Escape 2.0.

Fits great. You will want to buy the additional studs to secure it with but all in it was only about $75.

Added some more looks at another 2.0 engine cover install.

Who did you purchase it from and would also fit a 2024 Maverick Lariat 2.0 Gas Engine

Anything trapped under that cover will accelerate the aging of the plastics and wiring.

Wife has a Lexus that came with one of those - the entire top of her motor is now brittle plastics that break if you look at them wrong.

NC Miata's have these - and on early models the wires on the coilpacks become so brittle the wire breaks inside the harness.

I have zero doubt it makes for a quieter in cab experience - but heat and plastics are already a bad combo.

If my maverick had come with one OEM my first mod would be removing it and shoving it in a corner of the garage. Im surprised there havent been class action suits against all manufacturers for putting them on cars in the first place.

Ford stripped them out of the focus and edge late in their runs, word was cost cutting being the reason. I have researched a number of options and from I can see Weatherman has it right, the covers on all the 2.0l eco's appear to be the same.

I plan to hit some local salvage yards tomorrow afternoon and see what I can find.

Makes keeping the engine bay clean easier, and keeps water away from your plugs/coils.

On the downside, possibly, rumors abound that these covers are made from some of that soy plastic crop and rodents might enjoy eating it.....

Thanks for the post OP, looks good!
Bill
If it is the same material as my 2013 Escape cover then you don't have to worry about rodents. I never had a rodent eat that plastic even though I have chipmunks making nests in my engine compartment all the time.
