Email received after 23 order?

I placed my order on the 15th, but knew there could be a delay. I was on the phone with my salesman, on Friday morning (16th), about 9:45 am, and he said they got the order in. I happened to have my email open, while I was talking to him, and VOILA!!!....my confirmation from Ford popped up.

I also think some of us are victims of dealer efficiency. It might be easier for them to just check the "no email" button than to bother ensuring it is being typed in correctly. Especially when they are doing 112 orders in one sitting. My printed order didn't actually have my email on it.

I think another thing that is going on is that the saleperson never entered your email address (or entered an incorrect one). I can see some dealers only entering their email address and not the customer because they want to be the one communicating to you and not want Ford doing it. Go back and read the 2021 threads - lots of people last year didn't get emails either.

This is correct, last year my salesman never entered my e-mail. For my reorder I made sure he did and received my confirmation e-mail quickly.

I did get an email but would still like additional confirmation from Ford. Did I understand Tim @fordvideoguy to say one could get a DORA or some other kind of printout from Ford that would be detailed information of a recieved order? Is the Order Confirmation E-mail sufficient? I got one last time, waited 11 months and never did get scheduled, get a VIN, or anything else other than a few "Sorry" emails from Ford. What is the best way to get proof positive that your order is received properly and you are in the queue to have your Maverick built?

Sammeeee. Dealer said my order is in. But no email, sales or number etc. 48hrs and ticking. Trying this ford chat thing. My original order was June 1st

Placed my order on the 16th. Watched the dealer press the submit button. Received a "confirmed" email exactly 30 minutes later.

I suspect at many dealers the salesperson doesn't enter the order, rather the sales manager or someone else. So your salesperson may say its entered, but until the manager actually presses submit it isn't really.

Also many dealers reported they could enter and save orders but not actually submit them on the 15th. Which might explain some of the delays in getting the email from Ford.

I got a similar reply to others when contacting Ford over chat:

I show the status of your vehicle is in order processing, which means the order has been entered into the Ford Ordering System. It will then be scheduled and placed in the first available production week.
It does not show an estimated time of arrival as of right now.

Converted our order at noon on the 16th and received a confirmation email in less than an hour.

Does it take days or weeks for order to show up on Ford website under one’s login account?

If it’s like 22s it won’t appear on your account orders/reservations.

I placed my order on the 16th and hadn't eceived an email. I wound up having to bug my sales rep a couple times and show him an example of a confirmation email. Once I did that I received my confirmation email within 20 mins. If you never got the email, definitely bug them to make sure they actually filed your order as the banks are closing in a few days!

Why do people act surprised when others (like myself) post we got a confirmation email, then when we explain to them they need to contact their dealer and tell them what the dealer didn't do. People, if you did NOT get an email after you ordered MY22 or 23 Maverick, the delaership did NOT use your email in the ordering system, contact your dealer and have them take a screen shot to prove to you they did use your email.

All my communication with them was over the phone and email. I called this morning and they told me my rep was with a customer so I just forwarded him the confirmation email my buddy got and said I never received one and I got my email shortly after. I bet they were going to bulk enter them or something because it took me asking a couple times to get it sorted out.
