Funny guy but he actually got quite a bit wrong.

the interior is not at all the same as the “standard mav”. It’s the same as a BAP mav. Also, the tremor appearance package doesn’t do anything to the interior, only the exterior.

he also should’ve been more clear about it’s capabilities. He once mentioned rock crawling which I’m sure was a joke, but others might not know it is.

Yes, he does get a lot of things wrong in his reviews.

Decent review. Man is his video style twitchy as hell. But good job.

I know reviewing a Maverick is scraping the bottom of the barrel for Doug but he didn't have to do the review if he didn't want to.

That quite possibly was the worst review of the Tremor I've seen yet, and likely the worst review I've ever seen Doug give.

But hey make sure to visit carsandbids.com cause M3s are doing really well there!

The only thing that matches my disappointment is the excitement I had to watch it, unfortunately.

Well to be fair this is Dougs third preview/review of a Maverick. I think he has reviewed the Maverick more than any other vehicle on his channel.

The Tremor package didn't add that much more to talk about so I'm sure he was scrapping the bottom of the barrel to get the video to that 12-17 minute mark that Youtube seems to love.

They should all have the locking diff button. Fords AWD can be tricky to get engaged in the snow. Small learning curve involved vs a traditional 4x4

Agree. His reviews are useless for accurate information other than what you can glean by seeing the vehicle. But they are entertaining to watch…which is clearly what he is going for…and keeping me watching.

Thought maybe he borrowed my truck for it…but it was too clean.

I enjoyed it. Haven’t driven a Tremor, but I’ve largely agreed with his assessment of the Maverick thus far. Don’t know what he got wrong; if the interior is based on the BAP, then it looks virtually identical to my base XL, so he’s not really wrong there.

The AWD is automatic in standard Mav and there is no way to manually engage it beyond the drive modes which cannot lock the AWD system.

I agree about AWD lock and locking rear being standard though. It's why I jumped up to Tremor once it became available.

On the interior he isn't exactly wrong is he? The interior is really the same between XLT, Lariat and both Tremor trims. The only difference being color. You don't actually get different seats or anything else appreciably different. I don't recall if the XL has the same seats.
