I've found it's more about being easy on the brakes and throttle. I've managed several 30-mile drives in the 50mpg range. It's kind of a game to me now to get the best mileage without slowing anyone down.
you can also add or remove screens if you don't like to toggle through screens you don't use. Examples of screens:
EV Coach
Trip 1
Trip 2
Tire pressure
Calm screen (blank)
Braking coach
Current drive
Hmm. I use a cheap ELM327 Bluetooth adapter from Amazon and it works fine with my Pixel 8 Pro. I've had the app for a long time. Ian Hawking stopped supporting it at one point but he was responsive if you put in suggestions or had issues.
Torque is another great app. It does all of the ODBII functions and code clearing but it also has race info and you can configure Tach, fuel, speedometer, etc. screens. It's a free app and I've helped dozens of people with vehicle issues with it.
Normally, I would be parking in my garage where I parked my F-150. Unfortunately, the F-150 was replaced by moving boxes.... So, no garage space just yet. Maybe this weekend, the Maverick will be able to move back in. (We are loading a POD with furniture that needs to be out before listing the...
Got mine in September (can't remember the exact date right off hand but I think it was the 16th. I KNOW it was a Saturday) and am going to get gas today after work for the first time since.
You are almost certainly right. I looked at theirs but couldn't be certain they had clamps that wouldn't interfer with the sliding tiedowns and I didn't want to lose that capability (came in handy already, the sliding tiedowns did). I figured the Ford one would not interfer AND it's a Ford...
I went through that same process. Key to me was the tri-fold doesn't block the cargo management system like 2 others I looked at in person and the Ford design minimally obstructs the bed. It doesn't have a lock in it but you can't open it without opening the tailgate. It is very nice and I'm...
Just wanted to share my first fill up here. Well, I'll fill up after work. Awesome mileage for a truck. My F-150 and it's 18-19 mpg were... Disappointing...
Zero problems here. Today, I'll get to see how the gas filler door works for the first time.
Picked it up Mid September... Just over a year from order to delivery. 2022 Lariat Hybrid.
Zero issues. Added Ford's tri-fold tonneau cover after visiting a friend who had 2 aftermarket ones. It...
Ford averages $3,130 per vehicle in labor costs. I suppose if the UAW gets their way, those costs will go up maybe 40%? On a $80k truck, that's not too bad. On a $25k truck, it'll be a chunk.
Doesn't just hitting the + sign on the backup screen do effectively the same thing? It does in my F-150 and makes it look like you are looking right down at the ball.
Pro Tip:
If your garage space is tight, and you typically are driving solo, you can maximize your garage space by parking (facing into the garage) the Maverick on the left backed in and the one on the right straight in. That way, both drivers doors face inwards and you can have a big aisle...
