Hello everyone,
Does the maverick’s horn honk when filling it with air? My Frontier did and it was a great feature. Thanks for all replies in advance.

eh..just curious why would that be a great feature? It seems sort of ridiculous but hey I'm here to learn

I think Nissan introduced that feature a while ago and seen it on a few GM and Honda vehicles as well. But no, not on the Mav... Sadly, you'll have to shell out $2 for a handheld pressure gauge or go into the vehicle and check on the dash. I'll press f to pay respects.

Are you saying it honks when at the proper pressure?

It lets you know when the tires are set to the correct pressure so you can move on to the next one and you don't have to walk back to check the info cluster on the dash, or if you don't have a tire pressure gauge handy.

Thanks for this summary.

Great feature and accurate too. Our Jeep has it, the Maverick does not.

never trust built in tire sensors. mine are off by 3 to 5 psi. I check mine monthly with a certified gauge.
This. I fill mine at a Wawa that has an automatic pump that stops and beeps at the set pressure.

THEN I check it with a gauge that I know is accurate. Turns out one of my TPMI sensors is off by two pounds when I compare what the gauge says to what's on the dashboard. Never trust this stuff until you double check.

I have an inflator where I can set the psi amount and it cuts itself off. I usually set it to 37psi (against recommended 35psi). Assuming my inflators gauge is correct, confirming no honk.
