didnt bother with the prep pads. just cleaned it really well with glass cleaner and a microfiber. then again with a lint free rag. been on for over 4000 miles.
$20 or less paper filters that last for 25000 miles or a expensive junk filter setup that puts more oil into your intake and messes up sensors. good choice. have had nothing but issues with krap nasty filters.
i dont remember the last time i listened to the radio on purpose. i'll pay the $5 a month for pandora. and i get to choose what songs play. the bluetooth cut out is annoying on these though.
the tremor should be able to handle what you need just fine. as long as you know how to drive with a trailer/camper. i overloaded my old mav and it didnt care. ford puts those limits on their for your average idiot. and you can add a brake controller to ANY vehicle. it requires knowing how to...
its the brake pads. if you did a search, you would realize how crappy the stock mav pads are. hybrid or eco they use the same pads. get some powerstops(not an endorsement, just good product).
4500 pounds, car and trailer. did move it back about a foot and a half. towed just fine. after moving it back truck wasnt squatting. been towing mr2s for years. this mav towed it better than my yukon xl(suburban) with a v8.
dont care about showing me over weight as this truck got traded off...
if you want hill descent control. ditch the hybrid. get a fx4. also most of your other question can be answered by searching the forum.
one more thing, its BRAKES, NOT BREAKS.
