Same. Seen a bunch of these. This is often overlooked at the pre-delivery inspection and then the first time you use it you get the low washer fluid warning.
Fortunately, still shows $120 plus $56 installation for Maverick. I think install was only $24 when I had mine done and I used points to pay for the $120 and $24. Use it all the time when biking.
That's how my Lariat works, just walk up touch the door handle and hop in then use the push button start. I use my keypad when I lock my phone and keys in it while biking and kayaking.
My commute is 70 miles each way or 140 miles per day 4 days a week. The drop from 42 to 40 mpg, or 5%, is more profound for me than the approximately 2 days per year here in Kansas where AWD would be nice. So no regrets for getting FWD for me.

The AWD option on an Escape is $1500. Priced a platinum hybrid and without is 38610, with is 40110 so $1500. Hopefully this holds true for Maverick and there isn't a premium for it being AWD on a truck.
Yep. A Hybrid Lariat with no additional options and destination fee is $35835 now. Add the yearly price increase, premium for being a refresh year with added features like the big screen, and a major increase for AWD and you are well over $40K to start. Wouldn't be surprised if they make this an...
