Ford has no loyalty to me (us) nor will I show any to Ford. If any upcoming issues, like this forum, go unsupported by Ford, “For Sale” will be the watchword.

I was looking online the other day and saw that Toyota is coming out with a small form Pickup called the Stout.
I seen that it will be a Hybrid and also have the capability to drive the first 27 miles or so on full electric.
What are your thoughts on this?
There's a lot of -ifs- there.

We need an eyeroll emoji......I think the Maverick name is hokey but I still bought (and sold...) one

If a "Stout" or a small Toyota truck does come for sale, it will be powered by a small turbo engine. That would be hard NO for me.

Very interesting update, Toyota has been caught currently benchmarking the Ford Maverick and Santa Cruz at the Toyota tech center indicating they want to compete directly in this space:
