I love driving mine, look forward to it every time I drive it. Everyone who rides with me compliments me on how nicely it rides and how comfortable it is. I have the 24 FWD Lariat, and it has all the power and toys that I require
Nice! I went with the budget XLT because of the low base price, and just upgraded from window cranks and some other cool features. I can't wait for the big screen and CarPlay!!

Absolutely love everything about the truck except low speed hybrid issues. Drove from FL to OH and back, 16 hour trip each way, and was an absolute breeze. Was originally going to get an xl or xlt but couldn't with the camera recall, so ended up in a Lariat and the ACC is a game changer.

Currently trying to get Ford to acknowledge and fix the grinding/lurching issue in hybrids as that's a deal breaker for me. A brand-new truck that feels like it's falling apart at every stop is unacceptable...

I agree - I'm not sure I get this talking point. I drove a Ram 1500 for 5 years that had far more significant blindspots. Maverick is pretty much a breeze in my experience.
same here. Other than my Jeep with the top and doors off, this vehicle is about the best I've had for lack of blind spots.

I enjoy it. Not quick like my past vehicles, but a fine ride, nice ride height, I like how it sits for me.

Dumb generic post, but I was driving around this weekend and thought "you know, I really do enjoy driving this truck".

I've had way "cooler" vehicles that were more performance/luxury oriented, but the Maverick handles/drives so well. Every time I hop in I'm content.

I was on the highway, backroads, and in stop/go traffic over a long trip today and not once got sick of being in the truck for an extended amount of time. There's a sweet spot with this truck that's hard to describe.

I also really enjoy the features of the Lariat package in my Tremor. The seats rock, plush but firm. The B&O sound system is great. It's cold AF out here in the northeast and the heated function in the seats/steering wheel do not disappoint. The AWD system has also rocked while the roads are slick.

Feeling grateful tonight I guess!

Love mine. Will have been three years in March, and paid off!
When I want to drive my "way cooler" vehicle, I drive my other Ford.

I know the feeling. I’ve had my Maverick since May 2023 and couldn’t be happier with my choice. It gets me where I need to go whether around town or on trips. One thing I’ve noticed is that after a long trip, I don’t feel tired or that I can’t wait to get out of the truck. I have felt that way with other vehicles but not the Maverick! After 21,000 miles I still feel the same way about it as when I bought it. I’ve done quite a bit of customizing since I bought it cementing my my intention on keeping it for the long haul.

On well paved roads it is a nice driving vehicle without a doubt. On poorly maintained roads, pothole laced gravel roads not so much, on those surfaces I find it a rather unrefined to say the least.

Agreed on the heated seats and steering wheel, so nice to have on cold days. Love the cloth seats, after my last vehicle had the vinyl stuff (another brands version of Active X), never again.
The rough ride on poor roads is my biggest gripe too. Went to Wisconsin for the Fourth and the roads here in crappy Illinois are terrible. Looking for tires that give a better ride. But, great little truck and with the milage there's no interest in an EV.

Really love driving my Maverick and the ride quality. But the dash rattle just takes away the fun. Hope with my first service they are able to fix that. Very picky about rattles in the car and was very hopeful that mine would not have that issue. And turning up the radio does not help. Otherwise, it is absolutely great.

Rattles inside a vehicle can be very irritating. If you decide to take it to the dealer, be sure to take a lot of pictures showing what the condition is of your interior before the dealer starts work.

I now have 6000 miles. I just returned from a 1500 mile trip to Oregon and back (including some driving around). 500 miles a day one way.

The seat positions are uncomfortable compared to my Transit (not Connect) for drives more than 2-3 hours. You sit in the Maverick like a car; the Transit seats are like a bus/desk. The seats themselves regarding cushioning and material are irrelevant compared to position for long drives.

Town and daily driving is great, a very good compromise of view and ergonomics and economy. Economy was the main reason I bought the Maverick, and I usually get about 45mpg on a tank. setbacks include the very bad position of the rearview mirror inside; blocking view of traffic and signs etc. and the seemingly large turning radius for the vehicle's size.

In the $30k price range, I have not experienced a better vehicle for drivability and utility. Once you get over $35k, the Maverick starts to lose ground to other vehicles such as small SUVs. I could even imagine spending more than $35k on a Maverick, regardless of the trim options and gew-gaws compared to other vehicles that give you MUCH more for your money. But for less than $30k, it's the best thing going that I know of.

Thanks Glen, that's what I did when I brought in my vehicle for the airbag recall. Took a bunch of pictures right there at the dealership.

Depends. The rattly dash and incessant wind whistling noise sap my joy. Under 50 mph on a smooth road, yes.
