This is a good deal but it requires the order be placed on 12/27 or later, which is when the price increases come in for the XLT and Lariat, plus some options. When I factor in the Xplan pricing I will get with my current order the difference for me would not be worth having to travel from Florida to Des Moines and back.

It depends on what you're going after and what deal you have at another place. For a base XL Ecoboost, this is a screaming deal. The XL has not had price increases.

A base XL Ecoboost at MSRP $22,575
Granger's deal $19,575

Even after taxes and fees you're going to come out below MSRP, unheard of in this market. So if you're going for a basic truck, $3,000 is probably worth the trip.

That is my consideration on it. This is a great deal if you're looking for an EB and willing to wait, no doubt. But if you're trying to get a car to hold you over and then flip it, I have a feeling that might not work due to allocation numbers. But I'm still considering it.

@Granger Ford I couldn't find it, but did you guys have a large allocation for the November/December combined?
I think the Ecoboosts are getting pumped out much faster than hybrid but I guess that depends on size of dealer orders as well. My hybrid was ordered 11-15 so I don't have high hopes of getting it before August but maybe Long McArthur will get the allocations.

Same here lol. I already have deposits on 2 vehicles. This is a great deal, though....
Not really interested in an Ecoboost. I would sell it when the hybrid came in. Question is what configuration to order.
I figured those looking for ecobost are looking to tow or want AWD. It's been pitched to my wife as a family road trip and she seemed excited. Fly in Friday drive home Saturday and Sunday. I've never been to NE, KS or UT before. Would be funny to drop by Long McArthur to say hi on the way back. 🤣

Tim said they have only about 30 unscheduled Ecoboosts left. So they are probably all going to schedule in this next round. My order is from 10/5 and I hope to have it before August, hopefully you will as well.

Same. Absolutely zero interest in owning the Ecoboost, but I would be happy to drive it for a while and sell it later.

I will most likely take you up on that offer even though I have had one on order for about a month with a $500 deposit. What is your dealer website?
Grangerford.com
What, is this an April fools joke for Christmas? Can X Plan be used on top of this?
No X-plan in addition. This would be better pricing by a wide margin than X-plan.

We had 11 schedule in that period. We should have January information here by the 6th Of January too.

That is the question. For me a regular XLT non-lux is kinda useless. I'd order either an XL with 4K or XLT Lux FX4 4k. So do you want to temporarily own a $26k truck or a $32k truck?

Have a Lariat lux on order with Tim is it crazy to order one from Granger just to drive one in the meantime? I'm thinking I can break even when the hybrid does arrive. Hybrid was ordered 11-15 so last in line. Thinking Ecoboost would get here in a few months while the hybrid is going to be 6 months plus. Money shift channel got a $2k over MSRP offer for xlt with 4k miles. Thoughts?
I am contemplating the exact same thing. Get the EB now and trade for a hybrid. I cannot see a huge hit in depreciation in the current market. Good luck!

You still seeing way more XLTs schedule than anything else? I can't decide between a base XL or base XLT.

The problem is I think the lux package is constrained but if I'm driving that distance I'd want cruise control. So would go fx4 lux 4k like you mentioned. I think if I didn't take delivery that Granger wouldn't mind as that's probably what folks up there would want so they could easily sell it. The logistics issues won't clear up until 2023 at least according to my freight forwarder. They initially thought end of 2022 but now they are forecasting 2023 :-/ so another year of shortages and random availability. So should still be good for second hand market. In normal times this would make no sense as I would lose thousands. But no family vacations in 2020 or 2021 so why not.

Three quick questions:
1. XLT AWD ecoboost with 4k tow package, what the OTD price is? I'm not able to find the pdf you mentioned, just check ford.com ( MSRP as $28,470, so if I ordered from you, the OTD would be ($28470 -$ 3000) + Doc Fee 180 + Transit Fee 45 + tax? (Tax rate based on what, I'm in Rochester NY)

2. If I want mine delivered to me (or my local Ford dealer), how much the delivery will cost?
3. Do I need to cancel my order from my local dealer, or I can transfer to you?

Thanks
