Went to https://www.f150leds.com/collections/2022-ford-maverick and could not find the C1R Hitch light. Am I in the wrong place?
Sorry, it's still Diode Dynamics product but it is their C1R specifically for the F150:

https://www.diodedynamics.com/hitchmount-led-pod-reverse-kit-for-2021-2023-ford-f-150.html

Once you select C1R + Brake on that listing you'll see it comes with a bunch of harnesses. One of them is direct plug and play into the Maverick taillights for brake light. You'll use that and the 7 pin hitch connector and then it'll have full functionality with no trailer control issues

-Hey, thanks for this, that is super helpful to know (and help me decide if I really want the "Blinky brake light" or not).

You can also still use the brake light feature but disable the "Safety Strobe" aspect of it if you want. There's just a purple wire on the DD 7 pin harness that you cut if you want the brake light not to strobe when you press the brakes.

The cost difference from the C1 to C1R is $100. Wow!!!
Now we wait to find out if it will work on the 2025 Maverick XLT.
