Just curious, how long was the drive home? Short distance? Has it been sitting at the dealership or rail yard for an extended time?Just brought mine home from the dealer today. Drove it home and got the "deep sleep" alert.![]()
Drive is about 15 minutes on the highway. But yeah, I suspect it's because it has been sitting in a railyard. I'm hoping it'll go away when I can get a decent drive in and hope it's not a harness or battery issue.Just curious, how long was the drive home? Short distance? Mine did the same thing. I’m hoping it’s because it’s been sitting in a rail yard since October 20th. @Ford Motor CompanyJust brought mine home from the dealer today. Drove it home and got the "deep sleep" alert.![]()
You probably also notice your interior lights front and rear and cargo light out back work sometimes and sometimes not. Is this happening to you? It’s been cold were I live recently , that’s when I started getting the alerts on the ford pass. And I don’t drive very many miles . But I take for a 20 or so mile drive I don’t get an alert for 2 or three days
Yes it is. Went for a long drive yesterday to recharge up the battery… Not thrilled that that’s currently the solution to deep sleep modeYou probably also notice your interior lights front and rear and cargo light out back work sometimes and sometimes not. Is this happening to you?
My Dealer had my Hybrid for 6 weeks and finally said we figured out how to fix your Deep Sleep mode problem. A new 12 volt battery fixed this problem for 2 months and now the problem is back again. This problem started out slowly with the lights not working some of the time and then I would drive it for a while and they would work again.Taking my hybrid to dealer soon. Recall for under hood, oil change , AND the deep sleep mode, which I’m worried with at some point be a dead battery…
Has anyone had success with dealer resolving deep sleep?

As of today the problem is all the time now and no matter how far I drive it, it doesn't fix the problem anymore. I have not gone back to the dealer yet.
I drive my hybrid 7 to 10 miles every day.
Is ford paying for the battery or you?Add my name to the 'deep sleep alert' camp - my truck is at dealer today for a new battery, mine failed on the Rotunda tester...I hope Ford figures out why they drain on these vehicles, mine is just short of 1 year old....Started out noticing no dome light when opened in the morning and also no pass side touch feature on door handle...
Ford warranty...covered under 3/36 warranty...Is ford paying for the battery or you?
