The only time I've seen it longer is when I've remote started the vehicle to warm up and the ICE had been running a while.

Purchased mine for fuel economy and home projects. So not hauling stuff often but often enough to need a small truck.

Thanks for the input! Is there a way that it locks to keep people from getting in? I plan on ripping a few thin sheets of plywood I have laying around and attaching it underneath with conduit clamps so people can't just cut into it. I'm a cheapo lol.

You should be paying the price at the time of order since it's a retail order and not dealer stock. This is assuming your dealer is not a scumbag. See if you can talk to anyone else who has received a custom order from that dealership and look up reviews.
