Yea I never took any pictures as I did a basic install and these small cameras can go almost anywhere. I will probably just get the $50 Garmin adapter which plugs into the ODB port if I want an always on power solution in the future.

Garmin mini 2 is great. i put one under the front mirror and one behind the headrest in the back. You wouldn't even know they are there. They go on sale occasionally at Best Buy for $109.99 which I think is $30 off.
How do you pull up a video on it? I like how small it is but does it have a backup camera that you can attach?

Thank you. I discovered another thread where the member went into great detail including photos of the install. Sorry, I don't have the link to that thread, however, I did save his photos. Anyone needing that information, let me know and I'll post the pictures..
Here's how I installed my rear cam. Super easy install without having to mess with the rear seat.
Wire runs along the side of the truck (passenger side) :

I have (4) Garmin 66w/67w all powered by Garmin OBD2 devices in some of my cars and trucks. I also run full, multiple Garmin MFD electronics and radar in my boat.... zero issues ever.....

LOL ! You won't have to remove ant panels on the C pillar to get the wire in. Only panels you have to remove are obv

Yes, Garmin is a well respected and reliable brand. Thanks for validating that with your experiences.

I still have to purchase the cam, but probably will need some assistance. Good to know my back is covered. One of the reasons why this is such a terrific forum. Much appreciated.

Everything I've read says that the Viofo cams are the best quality, have the best processing and give the best day and night images. I learned a lesson early on that you get what you pay for with dash cams.

Absolutely. Reach out with any questions.

Good news is that you won’t damage any panels when removing them.

I found that removing both the top and lower panel on the passenger side front was the way to go when snaking the cable to the fuse box.

When putting them back you have to do the top panel's top clips first.

Everything is is straight forward.

I bought the front and rear dash cam with installation and tax for just over $400. I know I could install myself, but like the peace of mind and warranty of knowing that the dealership is installing it. I asked around at different car audio places how much it cost and was told $100-$150 per hour for installation. I'd rather just go with the dealership and have them do it.
