Hers was definitely not the 1.5 it’s not turbo.Yeah my wife has a Honda with the 1.5 turbo. I think it had problems with the rings with that engine but not hers yet. Knock on wood. I actually think the bigger one in the Honda is the more reliable one. I'm not sure, but I think it's a 2.4 liter naturally aspirated
I'm not to hip on certain lingo....what is a TSB? I just bought my 2024 XL 2.0L a week ago. I thought I was getting a nice reliable compact truck. Now that I'm part of this group I'm reading one horror story after another about reliability issues. It can't really be this bad can it? I mean ford has been building vehicles forever. This truck isn't some new design for them.Soooo... i have had a similar issue.
Ford has a few TSB's on this exact issue. The cv axles have known issues. They will be replaced a couple of times until the latest update of the part, fixes the problem. Im on my 3rd set.
TSB = Technical Service Bulletin. It's information Ford sends to dealers to help them solve common problems.I'm not to hip on certain lingo....what is a TSB? I just bought my 2024 XL 2.0L a week ago.
I really hope you don't have any problems in the future and your truck is going excellent for a long time.I'm not to hip on certain lingo....what is a TSB? I just bought my 2024 XL 2.0L a week ago. That sucks man!! Ford should treat you guys the same as anyone else.I really hope you don't have any problems in the future and your truck is going excellent for a long time.
We can’t say that every truck has problems, but I feel that I was very unlucky. It’s a matter of luck.
Unfortunately in Mexico we don’t have many regulations and laws that force brands to provide a prompt solution to these issues. Since November Ford haven’t been able to resolve my problem satisfactorily.
Yes I know It's crazy. I couldn't describe to you everything I've felt. Sadness, disappointment, anger, etc. and more with Ford's answers wanting to avoid his mistakesThat sucks man!! Ford should treat you guys the same as anyone else.
I realize that you tend to hear problems on sites like this so it appears worse- it's like how nobody calls their cable/ internet provider to tell them the picture is great and download speed is fast , you only call when there's an issue, but having really no issues with my VW Golf over the last 8 years I'm a little hesitant to get a Maverick. I figured the first year or so of production would have issues but they'd be sorted by nowI'm not to hip on certain lingo....what is a TSB? I just bought my 2024 XL 2.0L a week ago. I'm from Mexico. In my country we don't have a lemon law. We only have PROFECO and I am waiting for the first conciliation hearing.File a lemon lawsuit against ford, it's different requirement for every state, check yours. This type of BS is pretty normal from the stealerhips. I have issues too but don't want to bring it in early because I don't want to waste my time and frustration with the "it's normal" BS like what happened to you.
Read up on lemon law your going thru to much for a new veh !!!Sorry to hear that , I thought Mexico would rare of it better , I mean , it’s made there .
It’s weird ford USA wouldn’t help you as the money technically comes here?
I don’t know the dealer logistics rules and such between the countries , but your dealer down there should take it back in trade after “they said it’s fixed” and give you a chance to purchase an f150 or another option ? Is there no lemon laws in Mexico?
I also heard the maverick is more expensive in Mexico ? Seems ironic.
Keep complaining , if it’s legit on here , Ford moderates and owns this site , they should chime in and contact you if it’s legit.
