Yeah, maybe it depends on the size of the station. Up here in the birthplace of Costco, most if not all of the Costco Gas stations I have seen are something like 10 or 12 lanes wide and 3 or 4 pumps deep. And things keep moving quickly since people leapfrog over each other when a pump in front of the vehicle they are currently waiting for comes open. Not a lot of waiting unless you choose a lane with someone filling both of their 50 gallon double fuel tank giant truck tanks.
I don't know the supplier is but it is "top-tier gas"
The same local refineries everyone else gets it from, with Costco's blend of additives that makes it Top-Tier™ certified. Depends entirely on your region as to what's available.
In the 80's a service station got unleaded gas that had followed leaded gas in the pipeline and the cleaning solvent that is between wiper pigs when product is changed in pipeline either leaked past pigs or was diverted into the unleaded tank instead of the slop tank. My friend the insurance adjuster was writing checks right and left to people who got 2-6 miles from whichever station got the bad gas. The solvent was eating the carburator's plus anything plastic or rubber!
Here in Phx the savings is about 20 or 25 cents/gal. Have been buying gas at Costco for more than 20 yrs. The gas is top tier, and the store is about 4.5 miles from home (as it was from my old home). Food, snacks, and over the counter drug prices are great. Also unannounced closeout prices are super. Just on gas (about two or three 8gal fill-ups per month) savings almost pays for membership.
Yep, Pumpkin Pie has the same effect on me.
