I am hearing a clicking sound when my hybrid is turned off while sitting in truck. It sounds like the doors are locking then unlocking which they are not.
Any ideas what this is?

No that is not it. I'm familiar with the metallic expansion/contraction sounds, usually from the muffler system. These are relay switch type clicking sounds coming from the engine compartment. The sound more electronic than mechanical.Differences in thermal expansion/contraction between metal contact points like screws and shielding in the exhaust system can cause clicking sounds. Most cars do this.

Hey Ron, mine clicks too any time I walk by it in the garage with keys on me. I guess I'm happy to hear I am I have company with the noise. I have owned mine for a month and just hit 2000 mles. 29 to 31 mpg.My Ecoboost also makes the relay noise clicks. Probably not to the extent the Hybrids do. But it can happen any time, but most pronounced for the 3-5 minutes after turning off.
