[CANADA] Anyone have a hybrid yet?!

I ordered from Ocean Park Ford in South Surrey/White Rock. I ended up calling the orderdesk person a few weeks ago beginning of December and talked to him again last week on Friday. He told me both times that they are getting gas builds scheduled but have not heard anything from Ford on any of their hybrid builds. I will give it a couple more weeks and hope they have some good news early in the new year.

I have a hybrid XL in transit to my dealership. I found it 3 days ago and put a deposit on it today after they confirmed there was no deposit on it. Not sure when It will arrive but he claims on route from Mexico….I got lucky (so far).

No, I've talked to him a couple times and he looks up my retail order number (he knows my order number and priority code) each time so we aren't talking about stock orders for sure.

More Greater Vancouver folks, nice. I placed my Hybrid order at DAMs Ford out in the valley a few weeks before the cut off. Haven't heard anything either, but then I haven't asked. Kind of figured I might see it some time summer 2022. If Ford isn't going to send many hybrids to Canada, I might have to get an old gas guzzler truck to hold me over till a 2023 comes. Hope I don't have to, wasn't too fond of any of the mid-size or full size trucks I test drove (way to big).

A dealer in Calgary has one built and shipped. It's kind of tempting to jump on it, but the sales guy told me that they might no-sale it and hold onto it as a demo unit.

A demo for what? A product they can’t deliver? Unobtanium is what Ford should have called these trucks

Even if the only vaguely realistic option is to factory order, it's nice to at least be able to test drive something representative. Plenty of potential Mach-E buyers jumped ship to something else because they couldn't get a test drive.

"The company didn’t give me a cut off date just said unscheduled orders with the hybrid engine might not be selected to be built and no explanation of why "
Does anyone have Ford Canada number to call ? USA customers are getting deliveries of hybrid, does not make sense that dealer in Canada is being told this.

This is what my dealer out here in BC has been telling me last couple weeks. That if my hybrid order has not been scheduled yet, then it may not get scheduled at all until sometime late next year.

!!! I don’t understand why Ford treats the Canada market so differently…so few updates and even if it is reportedly scheduled for build, you don’t get some tracking system like America does…do we Canadians not buy enough Ford here or something??
Anyways, the only thing my dealer tells me is that Ford accepted the order….no VIN or anything else.

Yes, I have an order from August. Zero updates, no e-mails, and a tracking system from the dealer website that just says "Took too long to pull results" haha.

It's tough to time the sale of my current vehicle with the new one coming in, not knowing when it will come in.

I have just told myself it will show when it shows, and not to bitch like every other thread in this forum haha.
