Still on the fence here and lurking. Just want an XLT Hybrid at msrp. Will it ever happen? Who knows.
Place your order then wait and just when you think you don't have to wait any longer, wait some more. Then it will happen.

One month of ownership, no regrets yet. Likes and dislikes, sure. We'll see how many more recalls there will be by this time next year and I'll give you an answer then.

I am getting to order a 2023 Maverick and I am getting concerned about all the issues I am reading about. Anyone want to chime in and make me feel more confident about my potential purchase? How many of you are sorry you bought the vehicle.
My 2 cents worth. I ordered the ecoboost 2.0 for one reason, Ford has seem to have worked the bugs out of this engine. Plus I can work on it. I have this engine in 3 of my 4 Fords (wife has a 3.5 V6 in her flex, and 2 daughters drive the others) in the household and only have done regular maintenance on them. I ordered my Maverick with the view point of price and to expect not a truck like my F150s, but something to fill in personal preference. And this Maverick has given me no issues at 3000 miles and 6 months of ownership, and even if it did, I would have had issues with any other manufacturer and model. It is just a way of manufacturing life. Parts are out sourced all across the globe, and the quality control just cant reach 100 percent when you are talking 10,000s of parts in a vehicle. The reliability of Ford has been great track record for me. Going back to my first Ford which was a 67 Mustang that I bought while in high school in the late 70s. In 2010 my close friend and I bought a truck at the same time. His was a Chevy Silverado 1500 with the 5.3 and mine an F150 with the 4.6. After 75000 miles, he dumped money into his Chevy 10 fold over my F150. I still give him crap about it. (and I have nothing against any other manufacturer, as I have owned dozens of brands, but when it comes down to it, I have more confidence in a Ford built vehicle right now vs the others) Good luck with your decision.

I've had my Maverick since Dec. of 21. No complaints at all besides small paint chipping on the hood and fenders. Other than that, nothing. When I first took delivery, there were all sorts of freezing issues with the screen, but I did a software update a couple of months later and haven't had the same issue since. I've got the 2.0 ecoboost. excellent truck. I love it. Massive upgrade from my 02 escape. The Escape could carry a pallet if I put the seats down, but my Maverick can carry a pallet AND my two children at the same time. win.

My ‘22 hybrid XLT was in for recall work regarding the air flow to engine compartment when tech noticed the timing cover leaking oil. Ordered new gaskets and while waiting for parts to arrive, check engine light came on at full throttle. Bad clutch damper. No ETA on arrival, part on back order…

My truck has been in the shop for some body work due to some dumbass in the parking lot. It's going on two weeks. I miss having it. It's a useful, trouble free tool to help me do my job.

I can skate by with my personal car but it's a whole hell of a lot more difficult to fit supplies into the trunk of a convertible than a four and a half foot bed.

lol....what makes 18" wheels so magical?
Just a slightly higher, more commanding view of the road. For some reason, it irks me that my Santa Fe sits higher even it is literally an inch....

I was just posting about this in the Ranger forums.
I started having Orderer's Remorse just a day after I signed the order sheet. Now I'm over here in the Maverick forums to help keep my mind off my Ranger order. :)
Why did your Ranger order provoke order’s remorse? Just curious.

The 2.5L atkinson hybrid powerplant is hardly new, it's been used by Ford since '09.

Maverick is the most unreliable vehicle ever built.

I would only buy one to get in on the...

2.5 months old 8k miles. Hybrid getting 48/49 mpg. Love it, best new vehicle I have ever purchsed. First Ford I have ever owned. No problems. Also doubles as a race car. My Daughters have been drag racing it. Best ET in 1/4 15.70 @ 89 mph.
