I have a similar issue. While in drive, I can't scroll through my USB stick music. If I try, I get the 'for your safety...etc....' pop-up. Everything else seems to function fine, I just have to stop the car in order to scroll through my usb playlists.
I've had my Maverick since Dec. of 21. No complaints at all besides small paint chipping on the hood and fenders. Other than that, nothing. When I first took delivery, there were all sorts of freezing issues with the screen, but I did a software update a couple of months later and haven't had...
Pull the strap/lever/mechanism inside and it puts the truck in neutral when the engine is dead. Didn't need these in the past (recent past?) because the gear shifter was mechanically linked with the transmission. Nowadays, everything is just electronic and digital, that compartment is the result.
I'm also noticing more Mavs (and Santa Cruz's) around Centex. I used to be the only one around, but I just parked next to a Mav in Belton and have noticed several company branded Mavs tooling around Waco. Was followed by a Santa Cruz into Waco last week and yielded to one at a McDonalds in Waco...
Not confused at all. They are both ambient lighting. I ordered back in august and scouted this out for months. No confusion. It's the same circuit, the Lariat just has more bulbs. Both have ambient. Same circuit, same problems because the controllers and modules are the same. Do I feel like part...
lol. Did you order a lariat or something??? Yes.....lowly peasant XLTs can have ambient lighting too. Sorry it's not 'exclusive'.
And yes, I've experienced this issue several times with my XLT as well. I don't even notice though, until I actually need it and......hey.....my ambient lighting is...
Had to have gotten in early. I ordered mine mid/late August....still took 4 months to get it. Felt like longer since I had been scoping it out for months before. Advice from me to you, just be patient. Easier to say than do, unfortunately. Human nature. The weight is worth the payoff though.
Myself being 6'2" and 240lbs, I'd be just a tiny bit cramped living like that. But hey, more power to ya. Glad you're enjoying your truck. Awesome to see pics like these.
I know the Jeep people have a wave, wondering if there's anything like that for the Maverick. Like you said, I always want to catch up with my fellow Maverick owner. I was passed up by an Area-51 Maverick on my way through Waco last week and was hoping they'd be taking the same exit as me, but...
I'm up in the Temple area and saw two driving around town today. This was after only seeing one over the past 8ish months. I even saw a Rivian alongside the I-35 access road in Bruceville Eddy last week. All the cool trucks are making their way to Centex. It'll be crazy when Tesla starts...
