Not a bad idea really - but then it should be watching if actually moving and relatively straight line - then get louder. If sitting, get lower actually until you start moving again.Ooh! New thought, possibly. A previous vehicle I owned, the turn indicator audible got very loud when you forgot to turn it off from other than an auto cancel from a full turn, IE: lane change (everyone does use their signals for lane changing (BMW & Mercedes drivers excepted))?
Since the OP said sitting for an extended light, perhaps that was it? Extra volume reminder for our (me included) older more forgetful drivers to cancel it?![]()
